Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the cross and for the fact that your holy Son, Jesus, suffered for all of us who believe. We praise your holy name. Lord, you know the plans you have for us, and your thoughts are far greater than ours. We come to you together in the name of Jesus, believing that you hear our prayers when we agree. Lord, you know this man who rented his flat to me, and he is also your child. Lord, help him to hear your voice concerning your holy plan for his life. Help him to see the clear, unmistakable truth about his identity in Christ. Open his eyes to the false identity he adopted when he entered into sinful relationships or activities and strayed from your narrow path and followed his own desires. Lord break his stony heart and give him courage to follow the narrow path and soften his heart for your glory. I also pray that you will separate him from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and that he will recognise the depth of your love, as well as the sinful and hateful relationships he has entered into, in which he is controlled, blackmailed, and where his life may be in danger. Give him understanding to fear your Holy name. Lord, give him understanding to depart from evil and the evil woman in his life. In Jesus' powerful name we ask these things, amen.

We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for the cross and for His holy Son Jesus who suffered for all who believe, and we agree together with you in the name of Jesus believing that He hears us when we agree together as you have prayed. We praise His holy name with you and we lift up this man who rented his flat to you before the throne of grace.

We hear your burden for him and we share it, for the Lord knows the plans He has for him and His thoughts are far greater than ours. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. And in Isaiah 55:8-9, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. We pray that he will hear the voice of the Shepherd, for Jesus said in John 10:27, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

We pray for his deliverance and for his true identity to be revealed in Christ. When a person turns from the narrow path and follows his own desires into sinful relationships and activities, he embraces a false identity that can never satisfy. The Word tells us in Matthew 7:13-14, Enter in by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and restricted is the way that leads to life, and few are those who find it. We must speak plainly that any sexual intimacy outside of marriage between a man and a woman is sin before God, whether it is fornication or adultery, and any homosexual identity or relationship is also forbidden and immoral before Him. Such relationships do not reflect the sanctity of marriage as God ordained it and they bring bondage, not freedom. But we also rejoice that in Christ there is new identity and freedom, for in 2 Corinthians 5:17 it is written, Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

We pray together for his heart to be softened and made new. We ask the Father to do what He promised in Ezekiel 36:26, I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. Lord break his stony heart and give him courage to follow the narrow path and to depart from evil. Give him understanding to fear Your holy name, for in Proverbs 9:10 it is written, The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. And in Proverbs 3:7, Don't be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.

We pray for his complete separation from ungodly influences, including those in his household, for we know in 1 Corinthians 15:33, Evil companionships corrupt good morals, and in Psalm 1:1, Blessed is the man who doesn't walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers. Deliver him from the evil woman and from every sinful and hateful relationship where he is controlled, blackmailed, and where his life may be in danger. Your Word warns in Proverbs 6:24 to keep you from the immoral woman, from the flattery of the wayward wife's tongue, and we pray he will see clearly the destruction in such entanglements and flee from sexual immorality as we are commanded in 1 Corinthians 6:18, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Set him free from every chain of manipulation and fear, for in John 8:36, If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed, and in Psalm 34:17-18, The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

We thank you that you prayed in the powerful name of Jesus, for it is only by that name that we have access to the Father and it is the only name by which we can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We cling to that truth as we intercede for him.

So we pray, Father in heaven, we thank You for Your mercy and for the blood of Jesus shed on the cross. We lift this man to You and ask You to open his eyes to the unmistakable truth of who he is in Christ and to the false identity he has adopted. Soften his heart, give him godly sorrow that leads to repentance, and grant him repentance and faith to turn from every sinful relationship and activity. Wash him clean as You promise in 1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Separate him from every ungodly influence and from the evil woman who entangles him, protect his life from all control and blackmail and danger, and surround him with godly counsel and believers who will speak truth in love. Fill him with the fear of Your holy name and with courage to walk the narrow path, to depart from evil, and to seek You with his whole heart. Make him a man who honors You and who, if he is to have a relationship, will pursue a godly marriage with a believing woman that honors You, in purity and holiness. We resist the enemy on his behalf and claim in James 4:7, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Let Your perfect love cast out all fear and let him know the depth of Your love for him. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in him. In the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We hear the weight you are carrying for this man and we are grateful you brought him to the Lord so thoughtfully. You are asking God to meet him right where he is, to open his eyes to who he truly is in Christ and to give him courage to walk away from what is harming him. That kind of steady, compassionate intercession matters.

We are praying with you that he will come to know his identity as God's beloved child more deeply than any other voice or influence around him. When that identity takes root, it becomes a steady reference point when life feels confusing or pressured, and it helps a person recognize what is loving and what is destructive.

As you continue to pray, it helps to stay connected yourself. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer you can confide in, let them walk with you in this. And if you become aware of threats, control or blackmail, please encourage safe, outside help alongside prayer rather than trying to carry it alone.

Father, we lift this man to You in Jesus' name. Protect him, soften his heart to Your voice, and give him wisdom and courage to depart from evil and from influences that harm him. Surround him with Your love and with people who will point him to truth. Give our friend peace as he intercedes and guide his steps. Amen.

We join you in bringing this man before the throne of grace, and we thank God for the burden He has laid upon your heart to pray for his soul.

Your prayer is according to the mind of God, for you do not ask Him to bless what He calls sin, but to deliver from it. We must never ask the Lord to smile upon that which His Word condemns, whether it be a false identity, a sinful relationship outside the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman in marriage, or any cohabitation and impurity which belongs only within that covenant. To do so would be to ask for a false peace. What we seek instead is that which God alone can give, a true deliverance from the power of darkness and from the guilt of sin, both of which are the work of God alone through Jesus Christ.

We pray with you that the Lord who is gracious would say over this man, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom. That ransom is not our tears or our resolutions, but the blood of His own Son who bore the penalty for all who believe. Oh that this dear man may see that nobody would have thought of such a deliverance if God had not thought of it, and that it is held out to him freely as a gift of Divine Love. May he understand that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and that apart from Him there is no other name by which we must be saved.

We ask that God would grant him not that poor and short lived repentance which comes from mere terror or from the smart of consequences, which washes the outside but leaves the heart unrenewed, but that repentance unto life which is a hatred of sin and a turning from it and a determination in the strength of God to forsake it. True repentance and faith are inseparable companions. The one ejects sin as an evil tenant and the other admits Christ to be the sole Master of the heart. May the Lord break his stony heart indeed, and then soften it, that he may both repent and believe the gospel, for any repentance that keeps a man from believing in Christ needs itself to be repented of.

We pray also that the Lord would deliver him from the fascinating power of sin and from evil company, for we know that ungodly influences torment and are tormented, and excite one another to worse sin. If there are those in his household who control and blackmail and endanger him, and if there is an evil woman who holds him in bonds, we pray the Lord would separate him from them. Not by our might, but by the power of Him who has delivered us from the power of darkness. May He teach him the mischief that comes from loving the world and following his own desires, and give him courage to walk the narrow path.

We remember that affliction, when it comes from the hand of the Father, is chastening and not mere chance. The Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner. May these troubles, even those that come distinctly from the malice of others, be made profitable to his soul, to make him fear the holy name of God and depart from evil. And may he yet live to declare the works of the Lord, saying with the Psalmist, The Lord has chastened me sorely, but He has not given me over unto death.

We will continue to plead for him, that he may hear the voice of the Lord concerning His holy plan for his life, that his eyes may be opened to his true identity in Christ as a new creature, and that being delivered from the Pit, he may be kept from perishing and be presented as one who has been ransomed and renewed. May the Lord do this for His own glory.

We commend both you and him to the mercy that is in Christ Jesus, and pray that you may be kept faithful in intercession, trusting not in the prayer itself but in the gracious One who hears when we agree in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We join you in prayer before our Father, giving thanks for the cross where His holy Son Jesus suffered for all who believe, and for the promise that when we agree together in His name He hears us.

We pray for this man who rented his flat to you, that God in His mercy would draw him to salvation through Jesus Christ alone. Scripture teaches that deliverance is not only rescue from evil but also being brought into good, that we might receive adoption as sons by putting on Christ and receiving the Spirit of adoption. We ask that the Lord would open this man's eyes to see his true identity not in his desires or in the relationships he has pursued, but in Christ, and that he would turn from every path that departs from God's design.

We pray that God would soften what is hard in his heart and give him courage to walk the narrow path, to fear the holy name of the Lord and to depart from evil. Where he has been bound by sinful relationships and ungodly influences, including those in his household, we ask the Lord to break every chain of control, manipulation and danger, and to separate him from what harms his soul. We do not ask God to bless what He calls sin, but to grant repentance and freedom, that this man may know the depth of God's love and be restored to live according to God's good plan for marriage and purity, which is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and the proper place for sexual union.

We pray also for you who intercede for him, that you may show the gentleness that becomes those who have themselves received mercy. None of us stands by our own virtue, but by the grace of God, and so we do not boast or reproach, but we pray with thankfulness and love, remembering that we are members of one another and owe love to our neighbor. May the Lord keep you steadfast, teach you to despise no suffering that comes for righteousness, and to trust that He is able to deliver from every evil work and to keep those who are His.

We ask all this not because natural ties or good wishes can save, but because salvation rests on doing the will of the Father through faith in Christ. May God grant this man a clear sight of the truth that Jesus is Lord, a hatred for sin, a love for holiness, and a new life as a child of God. In the powerful name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Your heartfelt prayer reflects a sincere love for this man and a desire to see him walk in the truth of who he is in Christ, and it is right to bring him before the Lord.

Scripture teaches that when we put our faith in Jesus Christ we are joined to Him in His death and resurrection. Our old life, with all its sinful desires and actions, is crucified with Christ and buried, so that we can walk in newness of life. That is the true identity every person needs, not an identity built on sinful relationships or on following our own desires. The law of God is good because it shows us what sin is and how exceedingly sinful it is. It reveals not only that outward acts are sin, but that the strong desires of the flesh that lead to those acts are also sin. In that light we can see why straying from the narrow path brings bondage rather than freedom.

The good news is that while we were still sinners, Christ died for the ungodly. When we look to Him in faith, trusting that He bore our sin and its judgment on the cross, we are born again and become children of God. God then sees us in Christ, clothed in His righteousness. Because Christ lives in us, the righteousness the law requires can be fulfilled in us as we walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

For the one who is in Christ there is no condemnation, and there is also power to say no to sin. We are to reckon ourselves dead indeed to sin but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord, and not let sin reign in our bodies to obey its desires. We are not to continue in sin that grace may abound. Instead we are to walk in the light as He is in the light, and as we do the blood of Jesus Christ continually cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves, but when we walk honestly before Him His sacrifice is sufficient for every sin.

Scripture also teaches that our bodies are members of Christ and that he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit. For that reason we are called to flee sexual immorality. God designed sexual union for the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and any sexual relationship outside of that design joins what belongs to Christ to what is contrary to Him. It has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God, and we should not be deceived about it. The loving call is to turn from it completely, to purge out the old leaven, since Christ our Passover has been sacrificed for us.

The bondage you describe, where a person is controlled, manipulated and even in danger, is a picture of the bondage sin brings, like slavery in Egypt. Deliverance in Christ is real. Even now He can deliver us from the power the world and sin have over us, and one day He will deliver us fully from their presence. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus sets us free from the law of sin and death. That freedom comes as we rest in the finished work of Jesus and allow Him to dwell in us.

So we join you in praying that God will open this man's eyes to see the truth about his identity in Christ, break and soften a hardened heart, and give him courage to fear the Lord and depart from evil. We pray that he will see his sin as God sees it, repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ alone for salvation, and that God will separate him from every ungodly influence that keeps him bound, including the harmful relationship you mentioned. We pray that any controlling and threatening influence over him would be broken, that he would be kept safe, and that he would choose the narrow path that leads to life.

We also pray for you, that you will continue to walk in the light, trusting in Jesus and reckoning yourself dead to sin and alive to God, knowing that His life in you is stronger than any darkness. May the Lord give you wisdom, protection and peace as you continue to intercede, and may He be glorified as this man comes to know the depth of His love and the power of His deliverance. In the name of Jesus we ask this, amen.
