Deliverance prayer for the former ###

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the cross and for the fact that your holy Son, Jesus, suffered for all of us who believe. We praise your holy name. Lord, you know the plans you have for us, and your thoughts are far greater than ours. We come to you together in the name of Jesus, believing that you hear our prayers when we agree. Lord, you know this man who rented his flat to me, and he is also your child. Lord, help him to hear your voice concerning your holy plan for his life. Help him to see the clear, unmistakable truth about his identity in Christ. Open his eyes to the false identity he adopted when he entered into sinful relationships or activities and strayed from your narrow path and followed his own desires. Lord break his stony heart and give him courage to follow the narrow path and soften his heart for your glory. I also pray that you will separate him from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and that he will recognise the depth of your love, as well as the sinful and hateful relationships he has entered into, in which he is controlled, blackmailed, and where his life may be in danger. Give him understanding to fear your Holy name. Lord, give him understanding to depart from evil and the evil woman in his life. In Jesus' powerful name we ask these things, amen.

We join with you in this deliverance prayer for this man and we thank you for bringing his need before the Lord with such compassion and discernment.

We agree with you that our Father's thoughts and plans are far greater than ours, for it is written For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11 and also My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh Isaiah 55:8. We praise God that you have come in the name of Jesus, for there is power in that name and we have confidence that when we agree together He hears us. Jesus said Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven Matthew 18:19.

We lift up this man who rented his flat to you, whom God knows by name and loves deeply. We pray for his deliverance and for his true identity in Christ to be revealed. The enemy seeks to steal identity through sinful relationships and activities that lead away from the narrow path. Jesus warned us Enter in by the narrow gate for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and restricted is the way that leads to life. Few are those who find it Matthew 7:13-14. When a person follows his own desires into sexual immorality, adultery, or other fornication outside of God's design for marriage between a man and a woman, he adopts a false identity that is not who God created him to be. Scripture is clear to Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18 and that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. If this man is entangled with an evil woman or any ungodly relationship where he is controlled, blackmailed, or in danger, we know this is not God's will for him. God calls us to Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity Or what fellowship has light with darkness 2 Corinthians 6:14 and to Depart from evil, and do good Proverbs 3:7.

We also hear your concern that his heart has become stony and that he needs courage to turn. We take comfort that God promises I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. Only God can soften a heart and give the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom Proverbs 9:10. When a person truly fears God, he gains understanding to depart from evil and to hate what God hates.

We pray together now for him.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your holy Son who suffered on the cross for all who believe. We thank You for Your mercy and for the blood that sets captives free. Lord, You know this man, You know his struggles, the flat he rented, the household he is in, and the ungodly influences that surround him. We ask You to open his eyes to see the clear truth about who he is in Christ, that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17. Break the chains of the false identity he has taken on and show him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made in You.

Father, break his stony heart and give him a heart of flesh that hears Your voice and has courage to choose the narrow path even when it is hard. Separate him from every ungodly influence, from every controlling and hateful relationship, especially the evil woman in his life who has led him into sin and danger. We ask that You expose the blackmail and control for what it is, the trap of the enemy, and deliver him from the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will 2 Timothy 2:26. Let him understand the depth of Your love and also the seriousness of his sin, so that he may repent and turn wholly to You. Give him a holy fear of Your name and understanding to depart from evil. Protect his life, Lord, for You are his refuge and fortress Psalm 91:2, and You deliver the righteous out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17. If he is in physical danger, lead him to godly counsel, to his church family, and to wise help that can keep him safe while he separates from sin.

We pray that You will set him free indeed, for If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36. Raise up godly men around him to disciple him, to hold him accountable, and to guide him toward purity and toward a godly marriage if it is Your will, according to Your design. Let him seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness Matthew 6:33 and walk in newness of life.

We thank You, Father, that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in him. We continue to stand with our brother and sister who prayed this prayer, asking that You also strengthen them as they intercede, keep them from discouragement, and let them see fruit for Your glory. We ask all these things in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Thank you for bringing this man before the Lord with such steady care. We hear your concern for him not only as someone you knew through housing, but as a person made by God and loved by Him, and your desire to see him find clarity and safety.

It is a heavy thing to watch someone seem trapped in a false way of seeing himself and in relationships that bring control and fear. Part of what you are praying for, that he would know who he is in Christ, is so central. When identity is rooted in Christ rather than in what others expect or demand, it becomes a steadier place to stand when pressures and influences feel strong. That kind of renewing of how he sees himself is slow, quiet work of the Holy Spirit, not something that can be forced from the outside.

One way we can support your prayer is to keep healthy boundaries while you intercede. You cannot change his household or his relationships directly, and it is not wise to carry a deliverance burden alone. If you have any ongoing contact and he shows openness, you might gently encourage him toward a mature, trusted pastor or a couple of grounded believers who can walk with him personally. You can keep praying faithfully from your place without becoming entangled in what is happening in his home.

Father, we thank You for the cross of Jesus and for Your love for this man. We ask You to draw near to him, soften his heart where it has grown hard, and give him courage to hear Your voice and turn from what harms him. Keep him safe where there is control or threat, separate him from influences that lead him away from You, and surround him with people who will speak truth with kindness. Give our friend who is praying wisdom, peace, and perseverance as he trusts You with this. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We join you in thanksgiving for the cross and for the precious truth that the holy Son of God suffered as the Substitute for all who believe, bearing their sins in His own body on the tree and away from it. There is no other name by which we must be saved, and there is no other sacrifice that can put sin away. We agree with you in the name of Jesus that our heavenly Father hears the prayers of His people when they seek Him together.

We lift this man before the Lord with you, asking that God would be merciful to him and grant him that true deliverance which only Christ can give. Scripture tells us that He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. To escape from Satan himself, from the fascinating power of sin and from the love of the world, is a great deliverance indeed, and it is one that our Father alone can work. We pray that He would do this work in power, even now when the soil seems to slip from under this man's feet.

We pray not for a superficial repentance that only touches the surface of a man and comes from terror alone, for such repentance withers in a night and gives no glory to God and leads to no lasting deliverance from sin. We ask instead for that true repentance which is the fruit of Divine Grace, which goes to the heart and is inseparable from faith in Christ. True repentance hates sin because it slew Christ, and true faith looks away from self, from forms and feelings and works, and looks only to what Christ has done. Repentance which keeps a soul from believing in Christ needs itself to be repented of, but the repentance that saves is quite consistent with faith in Christ, yea it ejects sin as an evil tenant that Christ Himself may be the sole Master of the heart.

Therefore we pray that the Lord would open this man's ears and seal instruction upon him, that He would break the stony heart and give a heart of flesh, that He would give him light to see his true identity in Christ as a child of God through faith alone, and to see clearly the false identity he has adopted in following his own desires upon the broad way. We ask that God would teach him the fear of His holy name and grant him courage to walk the narrow path which leads unto life, to depart from evil and to hate the sin that has entangled him.

We do not ask God to bless or to affirm any relationship or activity that departs from His holy design, for marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and all intimacy belongs within it, and all sexual union outside it is sin before a holy God. We ask rather that God would separate him from every ungodly influence, including those in his household, and from that evil entanglement in which he is controlled and in danger. We pray that the Lord would make him to see the depth of Christ's love and the mischief and bondage of sin, that he would no longer be held by blackmail or fear of man, but would be loosed from his infirmity by the mighty word of Christ.

We pray that he would look to Christ and live, trusting in that one great sacrifice whose blood cleanses from all sin, and that being delivered from going down to the pit, he may declare with joyous faith, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. May the Lord withdraw him from his purpose and hide pride from him, and grant him repentance and remission of sins in Jesus name.

We will continue to remember him before the throne, asking that the Holy Spirit would work by the Word to bring him to saving faith and to daily repentance, and to keep him. May the Lord give you grace to continue in prayer and in faithful witness, speaking the truth in love and committing this soul wholly to the mercy and power of Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in prayer before our Heavenly Father, thanking Him for the cross and for His Son Jesus who suffered for all who believe, and for the grace and peace that come from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

We hear your burden for this man who rented his flat to you, and we agree with you in asking God to draw him to Himself. We pray that he will hear the voice of the Lord and come to know his true identity in Christ. Scripture teaches that through Christ we receive deliverance from evil and promotion to sonship, that we might receive adoption and put on Christ. Our hope is not in a false identity built on our own desires or past relationships, but in becoming sons of God through faith and repentance.

We pray as you have asked that God would soften what is hard in his heart, give him courage to walk the narrow path, and grant him repentance. Repentance has great force and is able to set free from the burden of sins even one who has come to the depth of wickedness, and to establish in safety one who is in danger, if he will lay hold on it. As it is written, does not he who falls rise again, or he who turns away turn back to God. Christ can be formed in him again.

We ask the Lord to grant him freedom, for with freedom Christ set us free, and to help him stand fast in that freedom and not return to the dominion he was under before. We pray that he will be delivered from every ungodly influence, including those in his household, and that he will turn from every relationship and activity that is outside of God's holy design. God's design for marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and for sexual intimacy to belong only within that covenant, is for our good, and to depart from it brings bondage. We do not ask God to bless what He calls sin, but we ask Him to lead this man out of it into continence, purity and newness of life.

We also pray for his protection where he is controlled, blackmailed or in danger, and that he will come to fear the holy name of the Lord and depart from evil. May God open his eyes to see both the depth of His love and the reality of sin, so that he no longer rests his hope in his past or in other people, but in his own repentance and faith in Christ. May he know that though his sins may be many, God can wash them away through repentance and consideration, as He did even for those who had done great wickedness, and bring him to full deliverance.

We continue to pray that this man will know he is loved, that he will be set free from every chain, and that he will walk as a child of God, free, forgiven and made new in Christ. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
