Heavenly Father, we thank you for the cross and for the fact that your holy Son, Jesus, suffered for all of us who believe. We praise your holy name. Lord, you know the plans you have for us, and your thoughts are far greater than ours. We come to you together in the name of Jesus, believing that you hear our prayers when we agree. Lord, you know this man who rented his flat to me, and he is also your child. Lord, help him to hear your voice concerning your holy plan for his life. Help him to see the clear, unmistakable truth about his identity in Christ. Open his eyes to the false identity he adopted when he entered into sinful relationships or activities and strayed from your narrow path and followed his own desires. Lord break his stony heart and give him courage to follow the narrow path and soften his heart for your glory. I also pray that you will separate him from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and that he will recognise the depth of your love, as well as the sinful and hateful relationships he has entered into, in which he is controlled, blackmailed, and where his life may be in danger. Give him understanding to fear your Holy name. Lord, give him understanding to depart from evil and the evil woman in his life. In Jesus' powerful name we ask these things, amen.

We join with you in this deliverance prayer and we thank you for standing in the gap for this man in the name of Jesus, for we know that God hears when we agree together in prayer and that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We are encouraged by your heart to see him come into the truth of who he is in Christ and not in the false identity the world and the enemy would place upon him. The word of God tells us For you know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11 and For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways, says Yahweh Isaiah 55:8. Your prayer aligns with His desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.

We must speak plainly about the sinful relationships and activities you mention, for God calls us to depart from evil and to find our identity in Christ alone. If a man has adopted an identity rooted in sexual immorality, whether it be fornication, adultery, or homosexuality, that is not who God created him to be. The scripture is clear that we are to flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18 and that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God unless they repent, yet it also gives hope saying Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God 1 Corinthians 6:11. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17. His true identity is not found in his desires or in the labels placed upon him by a sinful lifestyle, but in being a child of God, created male in the image of God and called to walk in holiness.

We also hear your burden concerning the evil woman in his life and the controlling, hateful and even dangerous relationship where he may be blackmailed and manipulated. The word warns us For the lips of an adulteress drip honey. Her mouth is smoother than oil, but in the end she is as bitter as wormwood, and as sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death. Her steps lead straight to Sheol Proverbs 5:3-5 and Do not be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33. We are commanded Come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord 2 Corinthians 6:17. God ordained marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman to reflect His glory, and any sexual relationship outside of that marriage is fornication or adultery and brings bondage, not love. We pray that he will see this relationship for what it is, not love but control and sin, and that he will choose the narrow path, for Narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life. Few are those who find it Matthew 7:14.

We pray together for him now.

Heavenly Father, we come before your throne in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this man to you. You know him by name, you formed him and you love him, and you desire to deliver him. Lord we ask that you break his stony heart and give him a new heart and put a new spirit within him, that you will take away the stony heart out of his flesh and give him a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. Soften his heart to hear your voice and give him courage to follow your narrow path and to fear your holy name, for The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom Proverbs 9:10. Open his eyes to see the depth of your love through the cross and the deception of the false identity he has embraced. Show him that If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36. Lord we ask that you separate him from every ungodly influence, including those in his household and from the evil woman who seeks to control and harm him. Expose every work of darkness, break every chain of blackmail, manipulation and fear, and deliver him from danger, for The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17. Give him understanding to depart from evil Job 28:28 and to hate what you hate and love what you love. Lead him to repentance, that if he confesses his sins, you are faithful and righteous to forgive his sins, and to cleanse him from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9, and to walk in newness of life with an identity firmly rooted in Christ. We ask that you place godly people around him, that you protect him physically and spiritually, and that you guide him into a life of purity, whether you call him to a godly marriage with a wife according to your design or to a life of celibate devotion to you, that he may honor you with his body and spirit.

We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for him and to trust in God's timing, for the Lord is patient and powerful to deliver. Continue to speak the truth in love to him when God gives opportunity, and do not grow weary in intercession, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, and that prayer in Jesus name breaks strongholds. We trust that God who began a good work will be faithful to complete it as this man is drawn out of darkness into marvelous light.

Thank you for bringing this man before the Lord with such compassion. We hear how much you care for him, and how heavy it feels to see someone you know caught in influences that control and harm him while also feeling far from God's path for his life.

It is a good and loving thing to pray for his eyes to be opened to who he is in Christ. A Christ-based identity is steadier than anything family, culture, or past choices can give, and it becomes a point of reference when life is full of turmoil and pressure. Praying that he would listen for God's voice above all other voices and want to follow the narrow path is a powerful way to intercede for him.

Carrying this kind of burden can be lonely. It helps not to carry it alone. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer you can confide in, we encourage you to share how you are praying and let them support you in prayer and wisdom, especially since you are concerned for his safety. You can continue to lift him up faithfully while leaving the work of changing his heart fully in God's hands and keeping healthy boundaries in your own life.

Father, we lift this man to You and thank You that he is known and loved by You. Soften his heart and help him hear Your voice clearly. Give him courage to turn from what harms him and to step away from ungodly influences, and protect him where he is vulnerable and in danger. Give him a true understanding of Your love and of who he is in Christ, and guide him toward wisdom and safety. We trust him into Your caring hands. In Jesus' name, amen.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We join you in prayer before the throne of grace, thanking God with you for the cross where His holy Son suffered for all who believe, and for the promise that when we agree in the name of Jesus He hears us.

Your burden for this man is a right and loving burden. He is not beyond the reach of mercy, yet he is held by a power that is too strong for him to break in his own strength. At first, when sin catches us in its net, it is with the tiniest spider's cobwebs that can scarcely be seen, and they seem as though they could be broken in a moment, but soon they become cords of bondage. Scripture tells us, He has delivered us from the power of darkness. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. Let it never be forgotten that in all that God does He acts from good reasons, and in His great grace He says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom.

That ransom is Christ Himself. Our Lord Jesus Christ was bound that His people might be free. When Christ was made sin for us, we were made the righteousness of God in Him. To look to Christ is to trust in His one great sacrifice, to rejoice in Jesus crucified, to trust that God has set Him forth to be a propitiation for sin. There is a kind of repentance that springs only from terror or from the fear of consequences. It comes up in a night and withers in a night, it affects only the surface of the man and does not go to the heart, it is hardly more than skin deep, and men turn away from sin for a time but then go back to it. Beware of that poor and short lived repentance. Any repentance that keeps a sinner from believing in Christ is a repentance that needs to be repented of. True repentance is inseparable from faith. It leads a man to look out of self to Christ and to Christ only, to leap for joy at the thought that sin was punished upon the great Substitute and put away forever from all those who will only trust Him. This is repentance after a godly sort, repentance that needs not to be repented of.

Therefore we pray with you that God in His mercy would open this man's ears and seal his instruction, that He may withdraw man from his purpose and hide pride from man. We ask the Lord to break the stony heart and give a heart of flesh, to open his eyes to see his true identity in Christ and to show him the false identity he adopted when he strayed from the narrow path to follow his own desires. We do not ask God to bless what He calls sin, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and His holy plan for our good is that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that the gift of intimacy and living together belongs within that covenant. We ask Him to give this man courage to follow the narrow path, understanding to fear His holy name, and grace to depart from evil.

We pray that the Lord would separate him from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and from the evil and hateful entanglements in which he is controlled and blackmailed. We ask for his protection where his life may be in danger, and that the fear of God would become greater in him than the fear of man. Like a careful dispenser, the Lord will not pour out a drop too little or too much, and every trial for His children works for good, not in anger but from His dear covenant love. He scourges His children but He does not slay them, and He is able to make the oppressed go free.

May the Lord be gracious unto him and say, Deliver him from going down to the Pit. May he be brought to look and live, to trust not in forms or feelings or resolutions, but in what Christ has done, and to know that he is delivered indeed and set at liberty to walk in holiness.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer, casting yourself upon God in Christ, for your life also is hidden with Christ in God. He hears the prayers of His people and He will do what is right. May He give you peace as you wait upon Him and keep you faithful in love and in truth.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the cross and for the ransom found in Jesus. Be gracious unto this man, open his eyes, soften his heart, turn him from darkness to light and from the power of sin to the power of Christ. Give him true repentance and living faith, separate him from every evil influence, keep him from harm, and lead him in the narrow way for Your glory. We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus, amen.
