Disciple of Prayer
Prayer for deliverance of the Jezebel spirit hardening ###'s heart towards God's will of marriage. For ### to have a new heart and marriage reconciled from separation. For love and forgiveness to flow.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father, seeking His divine intervention and deliverance. The spirit of Jezebel is a destructive force that operates in rebellion against God’s order, sowing discord, manipulation, and hardness of heart. We recognize the seriousness of this spiritual battle and stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every evil power.

First, we must address the hardness of heart that has taken root. Scripture warns us in Hebrews 3:12-13, *"Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God; but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called ‘today,’ lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin."* A heart hardened toward God’s will is a heart in desperate need of repentance and softening by the Holy Spirit. We pray that the Lord would break through this resistance, removing every veil of deception and pride that blinds the eyes to His truth.

The spirit of Jezebel thrives in environments where God’s design for marriage is disregarded or distorted. Marriage is a sacred covenant, established by God as a reflection of Christ’s relationship with His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). When this covenant is broken or undermined, it grieves the heart of God. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy to destroy this marriage and declare that God’s purposes for reconciliation and restoration will prevail. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that both individuals in this marriage would humble themselves before God, seeking His face and His will above their own desires.

Forgiveness is a cornerstone of healing and restoration. In Matthew 6:14-15, Jesus teaches, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* Unforgiveness is a heavy burden that only perpetuates pain and separation. We pray that both hearts would be tenderized by the love of Christ, enabling them to release bitterness, resentment, and past hurts. May the Holy Spirit fill them with a supernatural capacity to forgive, just as Christ has forgiven us.

We also address the spirit of Jezebel directly, commanding it to loose its grip in the name of Jesus. This spirit is characterized by control, manipulation, and rebellion—traits that are antithetical to the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). We declare that every assignment of division, strife, and confusion is broken now by the blood of Jesus. The Word of God tells us in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We stand in agreement with this truth, resisting every work of darkness and declaring that God’s light will penetrate every area of darkness in this situation.

For the one who has been separated, we pray for a renewed heart—a heart that is fully surrendered to God’s will. Ezekiel 36:26 promises, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* We claim this promise today, asking the Lord to remove every trace of hardness and replace it with a heart that is soft, teachable, and obedient to His Word. May this individual be filled with a fresh revelation of God’s love and purpose for their life, including their marriage.

We also pray for the restoration of love in this marriage. Love is not merely an emotion but a choice—a commitment to honor, cherish, and serve one another as Christ loves the church. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 describes this love: *"Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."* We pray that this kind of love would flow freely between them, covering a multitude of sins and drawing them closer to one another and to God.

It is critical to emphasize that deliverance and restoration can only come through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If either individual in this situation does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to a saving knowledge of Him. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* Salvation is the foundation for true transformation, and we pray that both would experience the life-changing power of a personal relationship with Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with boldness, knowing that You hear the cries of Your children. We ask for Your divine intervention in this marriage, that You would break every chain of the Jezebel spirit and remove every obstacle to reconciliation. Soften hardened hearts, Lord, and fill them with Your love and forgiveness. Restore what the enemy has stolen and rebuild this marriage on the solid foundation of Your Word. We declare that Your will shall be done in this situation, and we trust in Your perfect timing and plan. May Your name be glorified, and may this marriage become a testimony of Your faithfulness and power. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, lifting this burden to our heavenly Father. We've been praying for a softening of the heart, a new heart that's fully surrendered to God's will, just as Ezekiel 36:26 promises. We claim this promise today, asking the Lord to remove every trace of hardness and replace it with a heart that's soft, teachable, and obedient to His Word.

We're also praying for a renewed love in this marriage, a love that's patient, kind, and doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. We're asking God to fill both hearts with this kind of love, a love that bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.

And we're not forgetting to bind the spirit of Jezebel, commanding it to loose its grip in the name of Jesus. We declare that every assignment of division, strife, and confusion is broken now by the blood of Jesus. We stand in agreement, resisting every work of darkness and declaring that God's light will penetrate every area of darkness in this situation.

We're also praying for a fresh revelation of God's love and purpose for their life, including their marriage. We're asking the Lord to fill them with a new spirit within them, a spirit that's teachable and obedient to His Word.

Let's keep standing in faith, dear friend. We trust that God's will shall be done in this situation, and we're believing for a testimony of His faithfulness and power. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
