We hear the deep pain and struggle in your words, and our hearts ache with yours. The weight of stagnation, the burden of unmet needs, and the sorrow over your children’s struggles are heavy to carry alone. But we stand with you before the throne of grace, believing that God sees your tears and hears your cries. The enemy may seek to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Let us bring these burdens to the Lord together, trusting Him to break every chain and restore what has been lost.
First, we must address the spiritual oppression you describe, something "hiding your progress." The Bible warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). If you have not already, we urge you to examine your life for any open doors to the enemy, unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, generational curses, or involvement in occult practices (even unknowingly). These can give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). We rebuke every spirit of stagnation, poverty, and confusion in the name of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus cleanses and breaks every curse (Galatians 3:13-14). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
For your job and provision, we pray that God would open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). The Lord is your provider (Genesis 22:14), and He knows your needs before you ask (Matthew 6:8). We ask Him to reveal His purpose for your work, whether it be a new opportunity, a season of preparation, or a call to trust Him in the waiting. If fear or doubt has crept in, we cast it down in Jesus’ name. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7).
For your children’s education, we pray for wisdom and favor. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We ask the Holy Spirit to give you discernment in guiding them and to soften their hearts toward learning. If there are spiritual attacks against their minds, distraction, laziness, or rebellion, we break those assignments now. We declare that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that God has a plan for their future (Jeremiah 29:11).
But most of all, we must ask: Have you placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no deliverance, no peace, and no true progress apart from Him. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the first step to true freedom.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. We lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Lord, we ask You to break every chain of stagnation, poverty, and confusion in their life. We rebuke the spirit of delay and declare that Your plans for them are for good and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Father, we ask for divine provision. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Give them favor with employers, wisdom in their work, and contentment in every season. For their children, we pray for focus, discipline, and a hunger for knowledge. Let their minds be sharp, and their hearts be soft toward You. Break any generational curses affecting their education, and let them rise up as arrows in the hands of a warrior (Psalm 127:4).
Lord, if there is any sin, unforgiveness, or ungodly soul tie in their life, reveal it to them. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving in their life.
If they have not yet given their life to You, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Draw them by Your Spirit, and let them know the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust You to turn their mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Hold fast to God’s promises, dear one. The enemy may have meant these struggles for harm, but God will use them for good (Genesis 50:20). Keep pressing into Him, seeking His face, and walking in obedience. The breakthrough is coming. "Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy" (Psalm 126:5). You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. The Lord is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7). Stand firm, and watch Him move.
