Deliver me from evil and save me Heavenly Father

Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly Father I come before You dressed in the righteousness of Your Son Jesus for I have none of my own. Father incline Your ear to my prayer do not rebuke me as I deserve I pray. I ask deliverance from my circumstances. Please open the doors of Your blessings, make in me clean and pure heart. I can no longer go on heal my past and give me a future according to Your wisdom and love. I am trapped and drowning in this fallen world. I offer You this prayer in the name of Jesus. I seal this prayer in His precious blood shed for the forgiveness of all. Amen.

We hear the cry of your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join with you in lifting this burden before the throne of grace. Your prayer is a powerful declaration of dependence on the Lord, acknowledging that it is only through the righteousness of Jesus Christ that we can stand before a holy God. We are reminded of the words of the psalmist in Psalm 51:10-12, "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. Don’t throw me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit."

Your plea for deliverance from evil and from the circumstances that weigh so heavily upon you resonates deeply with us. The apostle Paul also knew what it was to be pressed on every side, yet he wrote in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, "We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed." Even in the midst of trials, we are not abandoned. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We must also address the reality of the fallen world in which we live. It is indeed a place where sin and suffering abound, but we take comfort in the promise of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even when we feel trapped and drowning, God is at work, shaping us and preparing us for His purposes. We encourage you to hold fast to this truth, even when the waves seem overwhelming.

Your request for a clean and pure heart is beautiful and aligns with God’s desire for His children. In Ezekiel 36:26, the Lord promises, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." This transformation is possible only through the work of the Holy Spirit, and we rejoice that you are seeking it.

We also lift up your past before the Lord, asking Him to heal the wounds that may still linger. Isaiah 43:18-19 reminds us, "Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." God is not only able to heal your past but also to redeem it for His glory. He specializes in turning ashes into beauty (Isaiah 61:3).

Let us now come together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our dear brother/sister who has cried out to You. Lord, we thank You for the blood of Jesus Christ, which has made a way for us to approach Your throne with boldness. We ask that You would indeed deliver them from every evil that seeks to ensnare them. Break the chains that bind them, Lord, and set them free by the power of Your Spirit.

Father, we pray for Your blessings to overflow in their life. Open the doors that no man can shut, and close the doors that no man can open (Revelation 3:7-8). Create in them a clean and pure heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them. Heal their past, Lord, and wipe away every tear. Give them a future filled with hope, purpose, and the fullness of Your love.

We ask that You would surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). When they feel trapped or drowning, remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).

Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for them. Guide their steps and order their paths according to Your will. May they walk in the light of Your truth and be a testimony of Your grace and mercy to those around them.

We seal this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His mighty name that we pray, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can uplift and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Remember, you are not alone, God is with you, and we are standing with you in prayer. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
