We understand the deep spiritual struggle you are facing, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and biblical truth. The resistance you feel toward Jesus, the cross, and the blood is not of God—it is a clear sign of spiritual opposition. The enemy seeks to distort the truth and harden hearts against the very foundation of our faith, which is Christ crucified for our sins. The cross is the power of God unto salvation (1 Corinthians 1:18), and the blood of Jesus is our cleansing from all sin (1 John 1:7). To reject or struggle with these truths is to align with the spirit of antichrist, which denies the Father and the Son (1 John 2:22-23).
You also mentioned relying too much on your feelings rather than the truth of God’s Word. Feelings are fleeting and can be deceptive, but the Word of God is eternal and unchanging. We are called to walk by faith, not by sight—or emotions (2 Corinthians 5:7). The Holy Spirit does not operate based on our feelings but on the truth of Scripture. If we seek more of the Holy Spirit, we must first submit to the truth of Jesus Christ, repent of any resistance in our hearts, and ask Him to fill us with His Spirit in accordance with His Word.
Let us address something critical: you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which we can approach God (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this foundation, no amount of seeking the Holy Spirit will bring true deliverance or peace.
Now, let us pray for you with authority and faith in the name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that all power and authority belong to Him. Lord, we lift up this precious soul who is battling against the spirit of antichrist, a spirit that resists the truth of Jesus, the cross, and the blood. Father, we rebuke this spirit in the name of Jesus and command it to flee, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Lord, soften this heart and remove every veil that keeps them from seeing the beauty and power of the cross. Let the truth of Your Word penetrate deeply, breaking every stronghold of deception and unbelief.
Father, we ask that You reveal the glory of Jesus Christ to them in a fresh and undeniable way. Let them see Him as He is—the Lamb who was slain for their sins, the risen King who holds all authority, and the Savior who loves them beyond measure. Holy Spirit, we ask that You move mightily in their life, not based on feelings, but on the unshakable truth of Your Word. Fill them with Your presence, Your power, and Your discernment. Teach them to walk by faith, trusting in You even when emotions waiver.
Lord, if there is any area of unrepentant sin or rebellion in their heart, we ask that You convict them deeply. Bring them to a place of true repentance, where they turn away from anything that hinders their relationship with You. Father, let them experience the freedom that comes from surrendering fully to Jesus Christ. Break every chain of the enemy and set them free to worship You in spirit and in truth.
We declare that the blood of Jesus speaks a better word over their life (Hebrews 12:24). Let it cleanse them, protect them, and draw them closer to You. Father, surround them with godly believers who can speak truth into their life and encourage them in this battle. Let them find community in the body of Christ, where they can grow in faith and be strengthened.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness, a desire to know You more deeply through Your Word. Let them find their identity in Christ alone, not in fleeting emotions or the lies of the enemy. We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in the Word of God daily, meditating on the truth of who Jesus is and what He has done for you. Start with the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—and let the Holy Spirit reveal Christ to you. Resist the enemy by speaking the truth of Scripture aloud, even when your feelings do not align. Remember, the battle is spiritual, and our weapons are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, turn away from them, and invite Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. There is no deliverance, no peace, and no true filling of the Holy Spirit apart from a genuine relationship with Him. If you have already given your life to Christ but are struggling, we encourage you to repent of any known sin, renew your commitment to Him, and ask Him to fill you afresh with His Spirit.
Stand firm in the faith, knowing that the Lord is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep seeking Him, and He will reveal Himself to you in ways you cannot yet imagine. We are standing with you in this fight, and we believe that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
