We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious young woman and her delayed cycle. Father God, we know that You knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and that every part of her body was fearfully and wonderfully made by Your hand. We ask You now to bring restoration and healing to her reproductive system, that her body would function as You designed it to.
Lord, we must also bring before You the concern of her drinking. Scripture warns us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and when we indulge in things that harm them, we grieve You. We rebuke any spirit of addiction or rebellion in her life and ask that You break its hold over her. Lead her to repentance and a desire to honor You with her body, for You are faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for her parents. Proverbs 22:6 instructs us to train up a child in the way she should go, and even when she is old, she will not depart from it. Father, give them the words to speak life, truth, and correction into her situation. May they guide her with love, patience, and firmness, always pointing her back to You.
If there is any unconfessed sin, shame, or fear in her heart—whether related to sexual immorality, past mistakes, or hidden struggles—we ask that You bring it into the light. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us (1 John 1:9). We declare freedom over her from any guilt or condemnation, for there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
Lord, we also lift up the possibility of pregnancy, though she has denied it. We ask that You would reveal the truth, whatever it may be. If there has been sexual activity outside of marriage, we rebuke the sin of fornication in the name of Jesus. Your Word is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4). We pray that if this is the case, she would come to true repentance and seek Your forgiveness and restoration. If she is not pregnant, we ask that You would regulate her cycle and bring her body back into balance.
Father, we also pray for her salvation if she does not yet know You as her Lord and Savior. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You draw her to Yourself, that she would surrender her life to Christ and walk in the freedom and purpose You have for her.
We declare healing over her body in Jesus’ name. We speak life to her reproductive system and command it to function as You designed. We pray for the return of her menstrual cycle, not just for physical health, but as a sign of Your restoration and order in her life. May she come to know You more deeply through this trial and emerge stronger in her faith.
We trust You, Lord, for Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
