We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing from degenerative disc disease, sciatica, and spinal stenosis. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and sustains every part of our bodies. Your Word declares in Exodus 15:26, *"If you diligently listen to the LORD your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you."* Lord, we stand on this promise today, believing that You are able to bring restoration, relief, and healing to every affected area of this body.
We pray for supernatural healing, Lord. Where there is pain, bring Your soothing touch. Where there is inflammation, bring Your calming peace. Where there is degeneration, bring renewal and strength. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the LORD.* We claim this promise in faith, trusting that You are working even now to bring wholeness. We also ask for wisdom for the medical professionals involved in this care—guide their hands, their decisions, and their treatments according to Your perfect will.
Father, we know that suffering is not without purpose. Even in this trial, we ask that You would draw this dear one closer to You, deepening their trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. Help them to cast every anxiety upon You (1 Peter 5:7) and to find rest in Your presence. May this season of pain become a testimony of Your faithfulness, a story of how You carried them through the fire and brought them out refined like gold (Job 23:10).
We also rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus Christ. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we command every affliction to bow to the name of Jesus. By His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that truth today.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this beloved one with hope, patience, and endurance, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways. May they rise up in victory, giving You all the glory and honor. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
