We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing from degenerative disc disease, sciatica, and spinal stenosis. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our bodies in the womb and knows every ache and pain we endure. Your Word tells us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We stand on this promise today, believing that You see this suffering and are mighty to heal.
Lord, we ask that You would touch this body, bringing restoration to the discs, relief to the nerves, and strength to the spine. We declare that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we reject the spirit of infirmity that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10), and we claim that abundance of health and wholeness in His name.
We also pray for wisdom for the medical professionals involved in this care. Guide their hands, Lord, and give them discernment in treatment. May every decision be led by Your Spirit, and may this healing bring glory to Your name.
Father, we know that suffering is not without purpose. If this trial is meant to draw closer to You, we pray for a deeper trust in Your sovereignty. Help this believer to cast every anxiety on You, for You care deeply (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen their faith in the midst of pain, and let this season be one of spiritual growth and dependence on You.
We rebuke any fear or doubt that may be creeping in, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand against discouragement and declare that this is not the end of the story—Your healing power is at work.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that healing is already on the way. Amen.
