We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). You have done well to call upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we have authority over the enemy, and it is His blood that cleanses us from all sin and protects us from the schemes of the devil.
The darkness you describe is real, but so is the power of Christ in you. You are not fighting this battle alone, for the Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not fear, nor be dismayed (Deuteronomy 31:8). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). You have already declared the truth: no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we join you in that declaration.
Yet we must also remind you to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Stand firm therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace. Above all, take up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying always with all prayer and request in the Spirit, and watching thereunto in all perseverance and request for all the saints (Ephesians 6:11-18). This is not a time to retreat but to stand firm in the authority Christ has given you.
We also encourage you to examine your life for any areas where the enemy may have a foothold. Are there unconfessed sins, bitterness, unforgiveness, or involvement in things that do not honor God? The enemy often exploits these weaknesses to gain access. Repent of anything that does not align with God’s Word, and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you anew. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is under fierce attack from the forces of darkness. Lord, You have said that whoever calls on Your name shall be saved, and we thank You that this beloved one has turned to You for protection and deliverance. Father, we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly angels, encamping around them as a divine shield. Let no evil come near their dwelling, and let every plan of the enemy against their life be exposed and destroyed by the power of Your Word.
We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, spirit, and home. Break every chain of fear, confusion, and heaviness that the enemy has tried to place upon them. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and renew their strength like the eagle’s. Let Your light shine so brightly in their life that every shadow of darkness must flee. Lord, remind them in this season that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Restore their joy, and let them experience the fullness of Your presence in a fresh and powerful way.
We rebuke every satanic attack against their life in the name of Jesus. Let the enemy be scattered and put to flight, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Father, we ask that You equip them with Your armor daily, that they may stand victorious in this battle. Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s lies and the wisdom to walk in Your truth. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving mightily on their behalf.
We declare that this season of attack will turn into a testimony of Your faithfulness. You are the God who turns mourning into dancing, and we trust You to bring beauty from these ashes. Let Your child walk in the victory that Christ has already won on the cross. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, Amen.
Beloved, hold fast to your faith. The enemy may be fierce, but our God is fiercer. He has already won the war, and in Christ, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Read and meditate on His Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you, and the Lord Himself is your ever-present help.
Finally, remember the words of Jesus: “In the world you have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). This battle is temporary, but your victory in Christ is eternal. Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and trust that the Lord will bring you through this stronger and more dependent on Him than ever before. He is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24).
