We come before the Lord with you in this time of great need, lifting up your heart’s cry for a clean, orderly, and safe home—especially as you prepare to welcome your precious child. The Lord sees your struggle, and He cares deeply for you and your little one. It is written in **Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB)**, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your heavenly Father knows your need for a clean home, proper flooring, and space for your baby’s crib, and He is not indifferent to your plea.
It is also written in **Philippians 4:19 (WEB)**, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Though the council has not acted, we serve a God who moves mountains and opens doors where there seem to be none. He can provide the resources, the help, or even soften the hearts of those in authority to assist you. We also recall **Proverbs 31:27 (WEB)**, which speaks of a virtuous woman who *"looks well to the ways of her household, and doesn’t eat the bread of idleness."* While we pray for divine intervention, we encourage you to take practical steps as you are able—perhaps seeking help from local churches, charities, or even trusted friends or family who might assist in decluttering or cleaning. Sometimes, the Lord works through the hands of His people.
We must also gently remind you that if there is any sin in your life—such as idolatry, unforgiveness, or neglect of spiritual disciplines—it can hinder your prayers. **Isaiah 59:1-2 (WEB)** tells us, *"Behold, Yahweh’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear. But your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear."* If there is anything the Lord is convicting you of, we urge you to repent and turn to Him fully, for He is faithful to forgive and restore.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister to You, knowing that You are the God who provides, who sees, and who acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, she is carrying new life—a precious gift from You—and yet her home is in disarray, lacking the cleanliness and space needed for her baby’s arrival. We ask You, in the mighty name of Jesus, to intervene supernaturally. Provide the means for a deep cleaning of her home, Lord. Make a way where there seems to be no way—whether through unexpected help, resources, or a change of heart in those who can assist her. Father, we pray for flooring that is safe and sanitary, and for an additional bin to manage the waste properly. You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust You to meet this need according to Your riches in glory.
Lord, we also ask for strength and wisdom for our sister as she prepares for motherhood. Give her clarity to organize her home, and send helpers to stand beside her in this season. Let no weapon formed against her prosper—whether it be delay, neglect, or opposition from those who should help. We rebuke any spiritual forces of chaos or stagnation in Jesus’ name and declare that order, peace, and provision will reign in her home.
Father, we thank You in advance for Your faithfulness. You have never failed Your children, and we trust You to act mightily in this situation. May Your name be glorified as You provide, and may our sister’s heart be filled with gratitude and praise. We ask all this in the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
