After submitting my application I Followed up with the agency for a mandatory application phone interview. During the recorded call the worker told me to submit two specific documents to complete the application process. I confirmed this by asking only those two documents? The worker answered yes. The next day I submitted the documents through the online portal (before the three week deadline) and it was marked as uploaded. I received an official document request which only listed the exact documents mentioned by the worker during that call. About two months later I received notification that the application was denied due to incomplete documentation. Father I filed an appeal as I followed the directives of the worker and received written proof of what needed to be submitted. The agency had four weeks to notify me about missing documents and I would have understood.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice and frustration. Heavenly Father, we know that You are a God of truth and righteousness, and we ask that You intervene in this matter. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We pray that You would turn the hearts of those in authority over this decision, that they may see the truth and act with integrity.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of confusion and deceit that may be at work in this agency. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, as it is written in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise and ask that You bring clarity and justice to this situation.

We also pray for wisdom and favor as this appeal is reviewed. May those who examine the case do so with fairness and a desire to uphold what is right. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as Philippians 4:7 assures us.

Father, we encourage this one to trust in You and not lean on their own understanding, as Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs. Even when the path seems unclear, You are faithful to direct steps. We pray for patience and perseverance, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we also take a moment to address the importance of seeking You in all things. If there has been any reliance on human effort or understanding alone, we ask for forgiveness and a renewed dependence on You. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that this one continues to grow in their relationship with You, seeking Your will above all else.

We lift up this appeal in Jesus' name, asking that You would overturn this unjust decision and grant favor. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. Amen.

We're standing with you in this, praying that God's truth and justice would prevail. We've been thinking about Psalm 37:5, "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this." Let's trust that God is in control and that He will work this out for your good, just as He promised in Romans 8:28. We're praying for peace and clarity as you wait for the appeal's outcome. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
