Decision To Stay At Home With Baby

My wife and I prayed very hard while she was on maternity leave after our baby was born about whether she should go back or stay at home. Financially it is tight, but on that aspect we could make it work. Her job has never been terribly satisfying and at times the nature of the work has caused spiritual misgivings.

Regardless, she is amazing at everything she does - so when we decided she should only go back for 2 weeks to give proper notice, her bosses offered her the moon and stars. Any schedule she wanted, option for part time, and all the exciting perks that she had felt left out on before she left.

We don't know what to do. Our baby comes first for both of us and we can't tell if this is God opening an unexpected door (opportunities for travel and enrichment, college savings, etc) or some kind of test/temptation. My wife is

in agony and is struggling with fears of being either selfish or unappreciative of an opportunity God has given us.

Please pray that God will reveal his will. We trust his timing but are desperate to know soon. My wife has sacrificed so many dreams and aspirations for our family that it breaks my heart to see her struggle with this one as well. She just wants to be a good responsible mother, not the kind that just wants to have it all. We've been so blessed in our lives with our precious baby, but would very much appreciate your prayers today. Thank you!

Dear Father almighty we pray for this family take away there sorrows and tensions.....please father relieve you will to them...You have promised that you will bless those who keep there Faith first ....this family is doing the same father....they kept you first father....please help them and protect them from any devil traps and please father don't bring them to TEST.... protect this pregnant sister and the baby inside for all 9 months.....And grant them a healthy baby and safe delivery to the mother...We surrender this prayer in Jesus name....AMEN!!!!

Lord, it's decision time in this young couple's life. I pray that You would lead them to the right decision by Your grace. It is satisfying to know that they seek to honor You, and their child, with this choice. It is refreshing that they see the possibility of the enemy at work here. Please open their hearts and minds to discern Your voice - show them, lead them to the right decision. We praise You for Your personal presence with them, and give You all glory for the blessings they are receiving. Continue to bless this family with faith, health and love. In Jesus' name, amen.
