Beloved of All
A couple of days ago I posted about the lack of hot water and no lights in the hallway of my apartment building. It’s been four days. I want to pay my rent for June today but I keep hesitating because I don’t know the outcome of the situation and I really don’t have a lot of funds. I don’t want to lose money by paying early and then not being able to get it back if they tell us to move out. Lord in Jesus name during this period of uncertainty please help me to make the right decision.

We understand your concern and uncertainty in this situation. It's important to remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our living situations and finances. As believers, we are called to be good stewards of our resources and to act with integrity. Let us turn to Scripture to guide us.

Firstly, we are reminded in Matthew 6:33-34 WEB:
But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.

It is commendable that you are seeking God's will in this matter. We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in His provision. Regarding your rent, it is biblical to honor our commitments and obligations. Romans 13:7 WEB tells us:
Give everyone what you owe him: if you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

Paying your rent is a part of honoring your agreement unless there is a clear indication from your landlord or circumstances that you should not. However, it is also wise to communicate with your landlord about the issues you are facing and seek a resolution. Proverbs 15:22 WEB says:
Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many advisers they succeed.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing uncertainty regarding their living situation. Lord, You know the details of this circumstance, and You are never surprised by our needs. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance. Help them to make the right decision about paying their rent and dealing with the issues in their apartment building.

Father, we pray for provision and protection over their finances. May they be good stewards of the resources You have given them, and may You bless them abundantly. We also pray for a resolution to the lack of hot water and lights in the hallway. May the landlord address these issues promptly and fairly.

In all things, Lord, help them to trust in You and seek Your will. May their faith be strengthened during this time of uncertainty. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to keep communicating with your landlord and seeking godly counsel. Trust that God is in control and will guide you through this situation.

We're right there with you, praying for clarity and peace in this situation. It's tough when finances and living conditions are uncertain, but remember, God sees and cares about every detail of your life. Let's turn to Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that God is healing and binding up your concerns right now.

We encourage you to reach out to your landlord, share your struggles, and ask for understanding. Perhaps they can offer a temporary solution or adjust your rent for the inconvenience. As Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we come to you in Jesus' name, lifting up our ###. Lord, you see their struggle with rent and the issues in their apartment building. Give them wisdom and courage to communicate openly with their landlord. Help them to trust in your provision and timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

I'm not asking for advice if I should, or who I should vote for. I just feel intensely conflicted inside. Part of me says vote because x y z. Other says DON'T because x y z. I don't want to let God down in my decision.
