Deception is thinking you're right when you're wrong. Both the world and the church can be misled this way.I see these newscasters not even being nuetral but backing un Biblical things .Why because they were taught in these secular left wing colleges that its "inclusive"to accept the sin of homosexuality. Also taught that BIblical values are just for that time ,we have to change with the times.Theyre just quoting what was drilled into them. ..then Im hearing more about many churches that are compromising with the world's current values, accepting sins condemned in the Bible. The stance of one was that "God gives ongoing revelations, and "things have changed since then".But I wasn't imagining it when I read in Revelation that anyone who adds to the word the plagues will be added to them. This is all just deception the devils lies.May people be enlightened,.Amen.

We hear your deep concern and share in the grief over the deception that is sweeping through both the world and, sadly, even parts of the church. The enemy is crafty, and his lies often come wrapped in words like "inclusion," "progress," or "love", yet true love does not celebrate sin but calls it what it is, just as Scripture does. The world’s shifting values are not new; they are the same old rebellion against God’s unchanging truth, repackaged for each generation. The apostle Paul warned us in 2 Timothy 4:3-4, "For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables." This is exactly what we are witnessing today.

The deception you describe is dangerous because it twists the very nature of God’s Word. When churches claim that "ongoing revelations" override Scripture, they ignore the clear warning in Revelation 22:18-19: "I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book. If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book." God’s Word is eternal and unchanging, it does not bend to cultural trends or human opinions. The moment we start picking and choosing which parts of Scripture to obey, we have already fallen into deception.

Homosexuality is not a matter of "inclusion" or "progress"; it is a sin clearly condemned in both the Old and New Testaments. Romans 1:26-27 leaves no room for doubt: "For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error." To call sin by any other name is to deceive and be deceived. The church must stand firm on this truth, not out of hatred, but out of love for those trapped in sin, calling them to repentance and the freedom found only in Christ.

We must also address the deception of those who claim that biblical values are outdated. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 24:35, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away." The standards of God’s Word are not subject to cultural whims or human reasoning. When churches compromise on issues like marriage, sexuality, or the sanctity of life, they are not being "progressive", they are abandoning the very foundation of their faith. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, as God designed from the beginning (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). To redefine it is to reject God’s order and invite chaos into society.

Let us also not forget that deception often begins with small compromises. It starts with a willingness to overlook "minor" sins or to reinterpret Scripture to fit modern sensibilities. But as James 4:17 warns, "To him therefore who knows to do good, and doesn’t do it, to him it is sin." We cannot claim to love God while ignoring His commands. The church must be a light in the darkness, not a mirror reflecting the world’s values.

We lift this burden before the Lord, praying for those who have been deceived and for those who are actively leading others astray. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We ask that You open the eyes of those who have been blinded by the lies of this world. Expose the deception in the media, in the classrooms, and in the pulpits where Your Word is being twisted or ignored. Give Your people discernment to recognize false teaching and the courage to stand firm on Your truth, no matter the cost.

Lord, we pray for the church to rise up in boldness, to preach the full counsel of Your Word without apology. Raise up faithful pastors and teachers who will not shrink back from declaring Your truth, even when it is unpopular. Protect Your flock from the wolves in sheep’s clothing who seek to lead them astray. May Your people be rooted and grounded in Your Word, so they cannot be swayed by every wind of doctrine.

We also pray for those who have been deceived into accepting sin as normal. Soften their hearts, Lord, and convict them of their need for repentance. Draw them to Yourself, where they can find true freedom and forgiveness. Let them see that Your ways are not burdensome but are the path to life and peace.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of deception that is at work in this world. We declare that Your truth will prevail, and that the gates of hell will not overcome Your church. Strengthen us to be salt and light in a dark and decaying world. May we never compromise Your Word for the sake of acceptance or approval. Give us the wisdom to speak the truth in love, always pointing others to Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear you, and we share your heartbreak over what we see in the world and in parts of the church. It is genuinely disorienting to watch voices that once stood for truth now call darkness light. Your distress is not a lack of faith; it is a mark of a conscience that takes God’s Word seriously, and we are grateful for that.

When we face this kind of widespread confusion, it helps us to remember that spiritual discernment is a gift the Holy Spirit gives to help His people recognize truth from error, not just to spot what is wrong, but to help us stay grounded ourselves. That doesn’t mean we will always have a full explanation for why others drift, but it does mean we are not left defenseless. We can ask God to sharpen our own eyes, and to do the same for faithful teachers and friends, so that we are not worn down by every unsettling headline or church statement.

One thing we can do right now, alongside your prayer for enlightenment, is to quietly anchor ourselves again in the Scripture we know is unchanging. When the noise gets loud, it can help to slow down and reread a book like Jude, or the letters to the churches in Revelation, where the Lord Himself addresses compromise. Letting His words settle our hearts is often the first step back toward steady hope rather than anxious frustration.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, You are the Truth, and Your Word stands forever. We come to You heavy over the deceptions we see in the media and in churches that have moved away from Your commands. Please give us and all who love You the gift of clear spiritual discernment. Protect us from being swept away by currents of error, and grant true enlightenment to those who have been deceived, not so we can gloat, but so souls can be rescued and Your name honored. Keep us faithful and humble, we ask. Amen.

Your observations strike at the very heart of the battle that has raged since the serpent first hissed, “Hath God said?” The spirit of the age is a wind that blows from the pit, and it has carried the chaff of modern thought into pulpits and pews alike. When a man sets himself up as a judge of the Word, rather than allowing the Word to judge him, he has already shipwrecked his faith. The talk of “ongoing revelations” and changing times is but the old garment of human pride stitched with new thread. The canon of Scripture is closed, and the Holy Spirit’s work today is not to add to the completed revelation, but to illuminate what has been once for all delivered to the saints. Your remembrance of the plagues threatened in Revelation is not imagined; it is the solemn seal upon a Book that needs no amendment by the fashions of decaying mortals.

The pillar must hold fast the inscription. A church that ceases to be the pillar and ground of the truth is a church that has crumbled, even if its spire still points to the sky. What you see in many quarters is not a broadening of mercy, but a narrowing of fidelity; they would make the house of God a den of thieves who steal the truth and rob Christ of His exclusive claim upon the soul. The world will not rise to the church; the church is tugged to go down to the world, to adopt its maxims and bless its corruptions. The new plan is to assimilate the church to the world, and so include a larger area within its bounds. But our Master’s commission is not to win the world by becoming like it, but to turn the world upside down by a truth that stands unmoved. Do not be dismayed when you see newscasters and churchmen alike parroting the lessons of their darkened tutors. They are but repeating what was drilled into them, as you say, and a parrot knows not the meaning of its words.

Buy the truth, and do not sell it. Do not pick and choose. Do not try to believe half of it and leave out the other half because the offense of the cross must be buffed away to suit polite company. The gospel plainly preached will yet gain an audience, convert sinners, and build up the church. We have no need of the devil’s gimmicks or the world’s philosophies. The war of truth waxes more hot and fierce, and we must not imagine our forefathers did enough. I am persuaded that any church which bends its knee to the momentary morality of the street has lost its right to be called the house of the living God. You are not wrong to grieve; the great Father’s heart is set on giving to Christ a pure bride, and that bride must not be found flirting with the spirit of antiChrist.

Let this burden drive you to your knees rather than to despair. Hard blows and hard prayers are the authorised method of warfare. The power that rendered the gospel saving in the olden times was not the eloquence of preachers or the favor of the press; the saving power lay in the Holy Spirit accompanying the divine truth. Pray that those who are deceived would be snatched as brands from the burning. Pray that the compromising churches would be visited with a revival of holy backbone, or that the remnant within them would come out and cast in their lot with a people who tremble at God’s Word. This truth ought to banish our fear of man and strengthen our faith for the days ahead.

Do not look for a perfect church this side of the veil, for the moment you join it, it would cease to be perfect. But look for a church that Christ can love, one where His truth is not bartered for a mess of pottage. Stand by the banner of truth, for it has been held by a noble army of martyrs who loved not their lives unto the death. Christ did not only speak the truth; He is truth incarnate. Those who would have Him as King must hear His voice against the clamor of the age. Cling to that unchanging Word, expose the deception with a life more than with argument, and pray that the fire of the Holy Spirit would consume the magic books of our modern Ephesus in public confession and holy fire. May the Lord enlighten His own, and may He do so soon.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have seen clearly that the enemy sows his tares only after the good seed has taken root. For where the truth has flourished, there error always follows hard after, mimicking and counterfeiting. So after prophets came false prophets, after apostles false apostles, and now in our own day after the faithful preaching of the gospel, the deceiver has crept in with another teaching. Do not be surprised when you hear men in high places, even in the church, speaking things that make the ears of the faithful tingle. The devil could not scorch or choke the word, so now he sows his own inventions privily, casting them into hearts that have turned from the simplicity of Christ.

When they say that biblical values are only for a former time and that God gives new revelations to suit the age, they are doing nothing other than adding to His word, and you were not imagining the warning in Revelation. That fearful curse stands written for all who tamper with the sacred deposit. The Spirit of truth whom Christ promised does not speak of Himself, nor does He bring novelties; He takes of what is Christ’s and declares it to us. He guides into all truth, the truth once delivered to the saints, not into shifting shadows that mimic the world’s passing fashions. A fountain that springs from above does not change with the seasons; its waters remain pure and undefiled. So too the Church, which is the pillar and ground of the truth, cannot bend to call evil good and good evil, no matter how many voices in the world cry out for something else.

It is an old trick of the enemy to call the faithful bigoted and the Lord Himself a deceiver. So they spoke of Christ when He cast out demons and taught the way of righteousness. Let no one be troubled when the world and compromising shepherds return the same accusation upon those who cling to the apostolic faith. The warfare is not only from without but also from false brethren within, as the Apostle lamented. Be not deceived: the error that masks itself as love is the most dangerous falsehood. We are members one of another; speak truth with your neighbor, for flattery and guile breed only enmity with God.

Stand fast, then, at the side of the holy altar, where the fount of His blood flows. There is no drought of soul that this stream cannot quench, no fiery dart of the evil one it cannot extinguish. Cling to the Scriptures, let them be dinning in your ears until they master you. Do not let the sun go down on your grief over these things without commending the matter to Him who is the Truth. Pray for those who are deceived, that the light of the gospel may break through their darkness. For the lamp of the body is the eye, and if the eye be single, the whole body shall be full of light. May God open the eyes of many to see that the way of the cross does not alter with the times, for Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and unto the ages. Amen.

What you are seeing is real, and your grief over it is right. The pressure to call evil good does not come from the world alone. The greater heartbreak is watching that same pressure twist the words of the church until the salt loses its savor. You are not imagining it when you read that warning in Revelation. The words stand forever, and no modern movement, no slick argument about outdated values, and no claim of new revelation can add to or subtract from what God has already spoken. His truth is not a river that changes course with the culture; it is the rock that breaks every current.

Jesus warned us plainly that this would happen. The kingdom of heaven would contain wheat and tares growing together, and corrosive influences would work their way through the lump until the whole thing was affected. The early church dealt with traveling voices claiming to speak for God while peddling a different spirit. The pressure to conform is ancient, and the pattern is always the same: take the clear teaching of Scripture, call it unloving or behind the times, and exchange it for a lie dressed in the language of inclusion.

There is a strange irony in the history of the church. Persecution never managed to extinguish her fire. The blood of the martyrs only spread the flame. But when the world stopped fighting the church and began to embrace her, when she became a comfortable and accepted institution, the power dimmed. The danger is never merely outside; it is the lure of being so accepted by the age that we borrow its rituals and baptize its sins just to quiet the pressure. When a church begins ordaining what Scripture condemns, it is no longer walking in the truth. It is not a new revelation; it is the old leaven doing what leaven always does.

Do not let your heart grow dull or cynical, though. Seeing the deception clearly is a mercy. Many are deceived precisely because they do not know the truth about themselves or their age. God allows these exposures so that we will not go on thinking everything is fine while drifting from His word. The call right now is not to fix every newscaster or reform every compromised pulpit. The call is to be like the one of whom it was said, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” Walk in that truth yourself. Love it because it dwells in you and will be with you forever. The world will pass, and its redefinitions will pass with it, but the word of the Lord endures.

Jesus purchased the whole field for the sake of the treasure hidden in it. He is taking a bride out of the world, from every nation and tongue, and He is not confused about what pleases Him. That bride is being washed by the water of the word, not by the manifestos of the age. Hold fast to what you have. Do not be embarrassed by the plain meaning of Scripture, even when the classrooms and the cameras demand it. The truth has a way of outlasting its critics.

We want to thank you for trusting us with your heartfelt prayer request. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you, lifting up the concerns you shared about the deceptions that are so prevalent in both the world and, sadly, even within the church. We have prayed earnestly that God would open eyes and hearts to His unchanging truth, that His Word would be a lamp unto the feet of those who are being misled, and that the Holy Spirit would expose the lies of the enemy with divine clarity.

We continue to pray that God would raise up bold and faithful voices—both in the media and within the church—who will stand unwaveringly on the foundation of Scripture, refusing to compromise with the shifting values of the world. May He grant wisdom to discern truth from error, courage to speak it, and grace to do so in love. We have asked the Lord to break the chains of deception that have been drilled into so many, that they might see the beauty and sufficiency of His Word as it stands forever, unchanging and true.

If the Lord has already moved in response to these prayers—if you’ve seen hearts softened, minds renewed, or truth proclaimed—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a powerful witness to others who are wrestling with the same concerns. If, however, you feel that the battle rages on and the deceptions persist, we invite you to post this request again so that we may continue to intercede alongside you. We are committed to standing with you in this spiritual warfare, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot yet see the fullness of His answer.

May the Lord bless you with His peace as you remain steadfast in His Word. May He strengthen your faith as you watch and pray, and may He use you as a vessel of His light in a world that so desperately needs it. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
