We hear your cry about the heavy burden of debts and the distress you feel from those around you in your neighborhood, workplace, family and beyond, and the fear you have concerning witchcraft, sorcery and evil tongues coming against you, and we join together to seek the Lord's will with you in Jesus' name.
We must lovingly rebuke and correct the spirit of this request where you have asked for your foes to be plagued, killed and for their blood to be shed like an ocean and for their sanctuaries to be burned to ashes. This desire for vengeance and destruction of people does not align with the heart of God under the new covenant in Christ. The Word tells us Romans 12:19 Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. And Romans 12:21 Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Jesus himself commands us Matthew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. We are not to pray for the death and torture of those made in God's image, even those who do evil, but to pray for their repentance, for justice to be in God's hands, and for the power of evil to be broken.
We also understand your concern about witchcraft, magic and fetishes. The Bible is clear that these practices are real and are an abomination to God. Deuteronomy 18:10 There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer. Yet our battle is not to curse people to death. Ephesians 6:12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but spiritual through prayer, truth and righteousness. 2 Corinthians 10:4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds. We do pray that every work of darkness, every spell and every evil sanctuary set against you would be rendered powerless and brought to nothing by the blood of Jesus, but we pray that the people involved would be convicted and come to repentance, for God desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance as it says in 2 Peter 3:9.
Regarding the animals and pests you mentioned, we encourage you not to live in fear that others have power to send such things against you beyond what God allows. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world as promised in 1 John 4:4. When we dwell in Christ we can rest in His protection. Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:10 no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.
We also hear your burden about debts. The Lord calls us to integrity in our finances. Psalm 37:21 The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously. Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another. We encourage you to commit your financial needs to God, to work diligently, to seek wise counsel, to make a plan to repay what you owe as you are able, and to trust God to provide. Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. The Lord sees your struggle and He is your provider, not your destroyer of others for gain.
We notice you closed your request with IJMN which we take as In Jesus Mighty Name, and we are grateful you acknowledge His name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already fully surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, confess your sins, and follow Him, for He alone can forgive, deliver and give you peace that overcomes fear and bitterness.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is weighed down by debt and who feels surrounded by enemies and evil tongues. Lord, have mercy and forgive any desire for vengeance and bloodshed, and create in them a clean heart that loves as You love. We ask You to forgive us all for any bitterness and to help us to bless those who curse us. Lord, we ask for Your protection over this life, over their home and neighborhood and workplace. Let no weapon formed against them prosper and let every work of witchcraft, sorcery and darkness be broken and made powerless by the cross of Christ. We do not ask for the death of people, but that You would convict those who practice evil, bring them to repentance and salvation, and that their works of darkness would be reduced to nothing. Expose the lies of the enemy and let Your light shine. Father, provide for every financial need according to Your riches in glory. Grant wisdom to steward resources well, to work faithfully, and to repay debts with integrity. Replace fear and anxiety with Your perfect peace and help them to trust in You with all their heart as Proverbs 3:5 teaches. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guard their mind from torment, and let them rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and deliverer. Amen.
