Mighty Prayer Warriors:
Please allow me to continue to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to all who have taken a moment to hold me and my little dog, Lil Man, in thought and prayer. Your continued thoughts and prayers are URGENTLY needed for we are still in fear of losing our home. I managed to secure one month of rent ($1810) of the three that could cause the eviction (Apr-June). Today, the landlord initiated court action for the month of July. I am DESPERATELY needing to secure/raise these funds ASAP so that I will be able to focus and concentrate on my new job. On Monday, 7/21, alas, I finally started my new job! PRAISE BE UNTO GOD! The job was expected to last until August 31; but, I was informed yesterday, that the contract/assignment has been extended through December. PRAISE BE UNTO GOD! I also learned that possibilities exist in becoming a permanent Government Employee or with the consulting/contracting firm that will ultimately hold the contract. Of course, I am praying that I will do an awesome job; and prove myself worthy of being a government employee! Thus far, I have met some wonderful people; and, I am eager to doing the work once I am granted systems access. I am in a great work location: one of the best that I have ever had throughout my entire Federal Government Contracting Career. I feel extremely blessed. Of course, I did have to take a decrease in salary; but, with endless possibilities in front of me, I will working hard to achieve my ultimate goal: Job Stability. Hence, it is imperative that in the very least, my rent situation is resolved ASAP. Please continue to hold us in thought and prayer. Also, please pray for my landlord, ###, and that God will soften her heart and work with me so that we may stay in our home. I also receive a food stamp benefit in today's mail. PRAISE BE UNTO GOD!
