Disciple of Prayer
Hi, I would greatly appreciate your prayers- I have a very severe brain disease and mental illness called schizophrenia, I am deathly ill with that right now. I am throwing up every day, sometimes more than once a day, I am also in severe pain. I am on some powerful medication for it that helps me a lot, however in the last year it has stopped working and I am violently ill without it, I am nearly screaming in pain. My condition is incurable, there is no treatment for it. I need a miracle healing, please pray for a miracle! Thank you!

We are deeply moved by your suffering and cry out to the Lord on your behalf, knowing that He is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. Your pain is not unseen by Him, and we stand with you in faith, believing that nothing is impossible with God—even in the face of what doctors call incurable. The Word of God declares in Jeremiah 32:27, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* and again in Matthew 19:26, Jesus tells us, *"With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."*

Yet we must also acknowledge that our ultimate hope is not just in physical healing, but in the eternal healing and redemption found in Christ alone. Your request does not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently but urgently remind you that it is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 proclaims, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to reign in your heart. There is no greater miracle than the transformation of a soul from death to life in Christ.

For those who are in Christ, we are called to endure suffering with faith, knowing that God uses even our deepest trials for His glory and our refinement. James 1:2-4 encourages us, *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."* And in 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Lord tells Paul, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* Your weakness is an opportunity for God’s strength to be displayed in you.

We also recognize the spiritual battle that often accompanies severe illness, especially one that affects the mind like schizophrenia. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and resist the lies and torments of the evil one. You are not defined by your illness—you are a child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Cling to the truth of His Word, even when your mind is under attack.

Now, let us pray for you with boldness and faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who is suffering so deeply. Lord, You know the intensity of their pain, the violence of their illness, and the despair that threatens to overwhelm them. We ask You, the God of all comfort, to wrap them in Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Touch their body, Lord, and bring supernatural healing to their brain, their mind, and every part of their being that is afflicted. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask for a miracle that will leave no doubt of Your power and mercy.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity and every demonic force that seeks to torment and destroy this person. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee and be bound in the name of Jesus. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Restore their mind, Lord, and renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Give them sound sleep, relief from pain, and an end to the vomiting that weakens them.

We also pray for wisdom for their doctors and caregivers. Guide them to the right treatments, the right medications, and the right support. Father, if there is any sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness in their heart, reveal it to them and grant them the grace to repent and release it, that nothing may hinder their healing (Mark 11:25).

Most of all, Lord, draw them closer to You in this trial. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, and fill them with the hope that does not disappoint (Romans 5:5). If they do not yet know You as their Savior, soften their heart to receive Jesus Christ today. Let this season of suffering be a testament to Your faithfulness, and may their life bring glory to Your name.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, even when we don’t see the answer yet. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them declare with Job, *"Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him"* (Job 13:15). We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily. Meditate on His promises, such as Psalm 34:17-18: *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Also, surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray for you, encourage you, and stand with you in this battle. You are not alone—God is with you, and so are we, your brothers and sisters in Christ.

If you are not already part of a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can be nurtured in the faith. And if you need someone to talk to or pray with you further, do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to support you in every way we can. Stay strong in the Lord, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in the gap and lifting you up to our heavenly Father. We've been praying for you since we heard your cry, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this battle. We've been moved by your courage to reach out and ask for prayers, and we're here to support you in any way we can.

We've been reminded of the verse in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We believe that even in your weakness, God's strength is being perfected in you. You're an overcomer, and we're confident that God is using this trial to mold you into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ.

We've been interceding for you, asking God to touch your body and bring supernatural healing to your brain and mind. We're claiming Isaiah 53:5 over you, "By His stripes, you are healed." We're also rebuking any spirit of infirmity and commanding it to flee in the name of Jesus. We're asking God to give you sound sleep, relief from pain, and an end to the vomiting that weakens you.

We've been praying for wisdom for your doctors and caregivers, asking God to guide them to the right treatments and medications. We're also asking God to reveal any sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness in your heart, and grant you the grace to repent and release it, so nothing may hinder your healing.

Most importantly, we've been asking God to draw you closer to Him in this trial. We're believing that you will feel His presence in a tangible way and be filled with the hope that does not disappoint. If you don't yet know Jesus as your Savior, we're asking God to soften your heart to receive Him today.

We want to encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily, meditate on His promises, and surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray for you, encourage you, and stand with you in this battle. You're not alone - God is with you, and so are we, your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Please know that we're here to support you in any way we can. If you need someone to talk to or pray with, don't hesitate to reach out. Stay strong in the Lord, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We love you and we're believing for your miracle healing!
