Let us begin by seeking God's will together in Jesus' name, remembering that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only in His name that we can be saved. Jesus Himself said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 WEB.

Let us address the desire to see your favorite person as soon as possible. While it is natural to have affection for others, we must ensure that our relationships align with biblical principles and that our prayers reflect God's will. It is important to use biblical terms such as courtship rather than "favorite person." If this is a female and the desire is for a romantic relationship, then the biblical approach to this relationship is courtship with the goal to marry. We need to remember that God is ultimately in control of all circumstances.

First, let us consider the importance of seeking God's will in all things. Psalm 37:4 WEB tells us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." It is crucial to align our desires with God's will and to seek Him first. We are explicitly told not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers and this applies to relationships and courtship. Therefore, we are told to only marry fellow believers in the Lord.

Regarding the distance between you and the person you mentioned, remember that God can work in all circumstances. In Psalm 37:5 WEB, we read, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:" Trust in God's timing and His plan for your life.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are sovereign over all things. We lift up our brother/sister who has expressed a desire to see someone they have affection for. We pray that You will guide their heart and align their desires with Your will. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your plan for their life.

If this relationship is not in accordance with Your will, we pray that You will give them the strength to let go and move forward in Your path. If this relationship is aligned with Your will, we pray that You will provide a way for them to reconnect in a manner that honors You. Guide them in Your Word and help them to seek You first in all things.

We also pray for the person who has moved away. We ask that You watch over them and draw them closer to You. May Your will be done in both of their lives.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged by the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Seek God first, and He will direct your paths.

Finally, if this relationship does not align with biblical principles, we urge you to reconsider and seek God's will for your life. Remember that God desires the best for you, and His ways are always perfect. We urge you to surrender this desire to God and trust in His plan for your life.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
