Humble Prayer Partner
Dear Lord, my son and I just lost our housing two days ago. I had to leave his father because he has been physically and emotionally as well as verbally abusive to me for the past 5 years. I finally couldn't take it any longer. His father has completely abandoned my baby boy, he hasn't called to check on him, didn't even come see him for his 4th birthday two weeks ago, he is living w/another woman and has chosen her over his own family. We are now living in a Domestic Violence Women's Shelter as of yesterday. It's so heart breaking to be in this place, but I am grateful that at least we have somewhere to live in the meantime. I am devastated that I have to go through this w/my son, he doesn't understand why he can't be in his own bed at home, why we are in this strange place. He is scared and so am I. I just pray to God that we will receive the help and guidance we need to get back on our feet again. So we can once again have our own place to call home so we can be a family at peace again. In Jesus name I pray that he sees us through this storm, I want to get a job to support my family, I want my son to get into school, and I just want a place to call home once again. I pray he keeps us all in the best of health, keeps us safe and watches over my Mom who has been a blessing and an Angel to us through this whole experience, she is hurting too watching us go through this. Please pray for us that we all get through this to see a brighter day. Amen.
