dear Lord Jesus, Please safeguard my two children in spite of the errors of judgement.
Keep them safe from any physical harm, you know how I worry so about them and have always committed them to your loving care and protection . Both my children know you and love you , I ask you Lord for your favour upon their lives Guard them physically emotionally and spiritually. Give them your wisdom so that they tread carefully and thoughtfully throughout their lives activities. Teach them patience and perseverance and a mind set that stops to weigh up all things before they proceed .
Thank you Father for my family , for my husband who has been willing to work at whatever he has been able to get in order to support his family. He has never shunned a job as being beneath him . All work is honourable, even being a toilet cleaner which he has done.
Thank you Lord for my two beautiful children , they are adults now, but still need to grow in wisdom . I guess as we all do Father.
Thank you for my dear and precious grandchildren . I ask Lord that you watch over them always and keep them safe healthy and well in everyway.
Lord we are so impetuous and careless and rebellious a species .
Lord I know the fall allowed sin to enter this world and with that we have brought about the grief and miseries and sorrows that have plagued mankind since the creation . There is nothing good that comes out of the human heart . You have told us the heart of man above all things, is evil and desperately wicked .
Forgive us Lord for sinning against you and forgive us Lord for sins we commit against others .
Lord Jesus you took upon yourself the penalty of our transgressions and bore our sins in your own body and spirit on that hill called Calvary so long ago. You died the death that we deserved and set us free from the penalty of the law .
Its a transaction that stirs in me amazement, and humility and gratitude and shall do forever more . I wonder how many of us fully comprehend all that you have done for us and the price that was paid for our salvation , and the love that you offer us , unworthy as we still were, and are .
Perhaps Lord in the world to come , in your Kingdom I will fully understand what took place on that cross.
All I know is I love you Lord because you loved me first .
