Dear Lord,

I understand why my ex decided to end the relationship. I pushed him away because I was having a hard time and I did not realize what I had in him and because I was selfish. I have learned from this, and though it is hard to not want to change the past, I hope this experience has bettered us both. I know you believe that things have changed, and I want him to see this as well. I imagine a long life between us before You, and I want the chance to prove to him and to You that I would do everything right this time. I know he has forgiven me, but please give him the ability to give me another chance. Let him know things would be different. Let him feel the love he suppresses for me. Please be with him, and bring us together again so we can live together and celebrate you together.
