I wish people wouldn't respond to prayer requests by telling the person requesting that they are to pray inane things that aren't to do with the request. It seems to be about control and is not a proper reply to a prayer request.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
