Dear Heavenly Father,

How much longer? Please give me real clarity on your will for my marriage and life. We are going through the same cycle again with jobs, car issues, bills, etc. When will this cycle stop? I'll be 31 and look at my life. I'm at a standstill, my marriage is a mess with a husband that doesn't seem to care. That doesn't seem to care about the hurt and pain and breach of trust caused. Will he ever feel real remorse?Back at my parents where they are emotionally abusive. What am I doing wrong? Did I marry the wrong person? I've tried God, you've seen all the praying, tears, trying to please him, etc. Please God, help me. In Jesus Name, Amen.

I will pray for the Lord to help you in your current marital situation and arrive at the best solution.  As a fellow, who has, over the years, seen ladies (from school, work, etc..) go through similar experiences, I can suggest (if your husband remains unresponsive to change within the next month) to seriously consider filing for divorce.  It's not a suggestion I suggest lightly, but, as a man who is familiar with the range of personalities out there among fellow guys, your husband appears to be rather stubborn and uninterested in growing together with you.  I apologize if that sounds harsh.  

You do have youth on your side, and I feel rest assured, if you do decide to end this abusive relationship in the near future, that you will find a compatible, faithful honorable man who will grow with you, as the Lord, I imagine, would want you to.  Never settle for less.
