You express gratitude, a humble spirit, and a deep longing for God’s presence, these are beautiful offerings to the Lord. Yet we must also speak truth in love, for Scripture tells us, "Faithful are the wounds of a friend" (Proverbs 27:6). Your words reveal a struggle that many face: the tension between repentance and repeated sin, between desiring holiness and feeling trapped in cycles of failure.
You say, "I am sorry I am not perfect, I sinned... but I ask everyday for forgiveness and mercy even though I would do it again." This is a critical place to pause. True repentance is not merely sorrow over sin but a turning away from it, as the Lord commands: "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out" (Acts 3:19). If we confess our sins while clinging to them, we risk treating God’s grace as a license for disobedience (Jude 1:4). The apostle Paul warns, "Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? May it never be!" (Romans 6:1-2). We urge you, beloved, to examine your heart: Are you truly fighting sin, or are you making peace with it? The Lord calls us to "put to death... what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry" (Colossians 3:5). This is not a call to perfection but to warfare, a daily battle against the flesh, relying on the Holy Spirit’s power.
You also say, "I am alone." This is a lie from the enemy, for the Lord Himself promises, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Yet loneliness can feel overwhelming when we walk in disobedience, for sin separates us from the fullness of God’s presence (Isaiah 59:2). If you are struggling with sexual sin, whether pornography, fornication, or other forms of impurity, we must name it plainly, for "whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). The Lord is not a distant observer; He sees your secret struggles and calls you to holiness. But He also offers mercy: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). True freedom comes not from excusing sin but from crucifying it (Galatians 5:24).
You ask for God’s accompaniment, and we rejoice that you seek Him! But let us remind you: Jesus is not just a comfort in loneliness, He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). There is no access to God apart from Christ, for "there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, repenting of sin and trusting in His sacrifice for your salvation, we plead with you to do so today. "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31). Salvation is not earned by good works but received by faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for this dear one who cries out to You. Lord, You see their longing for Your presence, their sorrow over sin, and their fear of loneliness. We ask that You would draw near to them, as You promise in Your Word: "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8). Forgive them, Father, for every sin they have clung to, and break the power of those strongholds in the name of Jesus. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in purity, power, and purpose.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of loneliness that whispers lies to their soul. Remind them that You are their ever-present help (Psalm 46:1), that You have engraved them on the palms of Your hands (Isaiah 49:16), and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). Give them courage to flee from temptation and wisdom to seek godly fellowship, for "iron sharpens iron" (Proverbs 27:17). Surround them with believers who will spur them on to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24).
Father, if they have not fully surrendered to Christ, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and soften their heart to receive Your grace. May they experience the joy of sins forgiven and the peace of being Your child.
