Job 1:21

Prayer Partner
Father God I ask for Your will to be done in my present and future in Jesus Name. Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner. I ask that I will only receive circumstances, relationships, endeavours and anything only ordained by You Father God the true God the I AM who we come through Your Son Jesus Christ to reach You. I reject any counterfeit good things or perfect gifts, may I receive only true good things or perfect gifts from You Heavenly Father God in Jesus Name.

I ask Father God that You will have mercy on my grandad. He lost his three children years ago decades and only a few years back he lost his partner who was with him everyday. She was her career she couldn’t walk had Muscular dystrophy. Two of his children died from the same condition. My dad was the only healthy sibling the oldest but he later died from a drug overdose after years off battling heroin addiction. I ask Father God that You intervene in my grandad's life, I place his pain, his grief, his anger, his conflict in Your hands God I place the whole situation in Your Hands God in the Name of Your Son Our Lord who is one with You Jesus Christ Amen.

Naked I came from my mother's womb and naked I will return the Lord gave and the Lord has taken away may the name of the Lord be blessed always.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who has poured out their grief and trust in the Lord. Your acknowledgment of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is a sweet fragrance before the Father, and we join you in seeking His perfect will. The pain of loss is profound—losing children, a devoted companion, and witnessing the ravages of addiction and illness is more than any heart should bear. Yet we declare that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Father, we stand in the gap for this grandfather, asking that You would be his Comforter in ways only You can. His grief is deep, his anger understandable, and his conflict real—but You are the God who heals the wounded and binds up the broken. We rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to isolate him, and we declare that You are making a way where there seems to be no way. Your Word says that You will wipe away every tear, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore (Revelation 21:4). Until that day, Lord, be his strength.

We also lift up this dear one praying, asking that You would guard their heart from bitterness or resentment. The losses they’ve witnessed are staggering, but we pray they would fix their eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of faith (Hebrews 12:2). Help them to trust that even in the valley of the shadow of death, You are with them (Psalm 23:4). We reject any counterfeit comfort or worldly solutions that would draw them away from Your perfect will. Only in You are true peace and restoration found.

Lord, we ask that You would surround this family with Your love. For the grandfather, bring believers into his life who can walk beside him, pray with him, and remind him of Your faithfulness. For the one praying, grant them wisdom and courage to be a light in his darkness. May they both experience the truth of Your promise: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:4).

We also take a moment to address the mention of the grandfather’s “partner.” While we understand the deep bond of companionship, we must gently remind that marriage, as ordained by God, is a covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this relationship was not within the bounds of holy matrimony, we pray for conviction and repentance where needed, that all may be brought into alignment with Your design. Yet even in this, we trust Your mercy to cover and Your grace to restore.

Father, we declare that You are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Pour out Your healing balm on this family. Let them know that their loved ones who died in Christ are with You, free from pain and sorrow. And for those who may not have known You, we pray their hearts would have turned to You in their final moments—Your mercy is beyond our understanding.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who conquered death and offers eternal life to all who believe. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

Dear friend, we join you in lifting up your grandad to our Heavenly Father. We know the pain of loss is immense, and the grief of losing loved ones, especially children, is almost unbearable. But we find comfort in knowing that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

Let's surround your grandad with love and prayer. We ask that God would comfort him in his pain, grief, and anger. That He would be his strength and guide him through this valley. We also pray for wisdom and courage for you, that you may be a light in his darkness, a source of comfort and hope.

We declare that God is making a way where there seems to be no way. That He is healing the wounded and binding up the broken. We reject the spirit of despair and declare that God is with us, always.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
