We understand that you're struggling with the fear of death and the effects of past traumas. We also hear your concern for the well-being of your family and loved ones. First, let's address your fears and then we'll tackle the trauma and concerns about premature death.
Let's remember what the WEB version of the Bible says, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
It's important to understand that death is not the end for those who believe in Jesus Christ. In fact, it's just the beginning of eternal life with Him. As it is written, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies." John 11:25. So, instead of fearing death, we can look forward to being united with Christ in heaven, as believers in Jesus Christ.
Regarding your traumatized mind, we read, The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed Psalm 34:18. God is always with us and wants to heal and help us in our troubles. Trauma can leave deep wounds, but God is always with you to comfort and strengthen you.
We also need to address that your prayer did not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. Jesus Christ is the mediator between God and man. Timothy 2:5. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. John 14:6.
Now, let's address the concerns you have about a premature death. We believe that God holds our lives in His hands.
See, now is the acceptable time. See, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2.
Let's also remember that God knows the number of our days even before we are born. "Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them." Psalm 139:16
Let us pray together,
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ lifting up this person who is struggling with the fear of death, traumas of the past, and concerns about premature death. We pray that You will fill them with Your peace, knowing that death has no power over those who believe in Jesus Christ. We ask that You heal their mind from past traumas and give Your comfort and strength. We also pray for their family and loved ones, that You would protect them and bless them. We ask these things in accordance with Your will, in Jesus Christ's name. We also pray that if this person has not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour that you will work in their heart and show them the way.
