We join you in your gratitude to God, and say amen to your heartfelt thanksgiving. It's beautiful to see you acknowledging God's goodness in your life, despite feelings of uncertainty or incompleteness. We are reminded of Psalm 100:4-5, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, and bless his name. For Yahweh is good. His loving kindness endures forever, his faithfulness to all generations."
In those moments when you feel ignored or incomplete, remember that God's love for you is constant and unchanging. As it says in Romans 8:38-39, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
You valued your life and the lives of your siblings and mom. Doing so is a mark of honor and obedience to the commandment in Exodus 20:12, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you."
We encourage you to continue cultivating this attitude of gratitude, even in difficult times. It's in Jesus' name that we find access to God, and it's wonderful that you ended your prayer this way. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord, thank you for your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help us to always have an attitude of gratitude, even in uncertain times. Continue to watch over this child of Yours and their family, providing for their every need, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Draw them ever closer to You, that they may know Your love more intimately. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
