We understand that you are facing a challenging situation with your former manager. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is important to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.".
In addressing your concern, we want to encourage you to seek God's will in this matter. It is clear that you are feeling uncomfortable with this person's influence in your life. Remember, God calls us to be wise and discerning in our relationships. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB "Don't be deceived! Evil companionships corrupt good morals."

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus to lift up our brother/sister who is facing a difficult situation. Lord, we ask that You guide them and give them the strength to make wise decisions. If this former manager is not a positive influence, we pray that You would help them to set boundaries and remove any negative influences from their life. Give them courage and discernment, and let Your will be done in this situation.
We also pray for the former manager, that they may come to know Jesus personally and be transformed by His love.
In all things, let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
