Dear God- I was raised without any religion/faith, but I have recently found and felt the peace and power that prayer can bring me.

I want to find some inner peace and comfort in regards to creating a long lasting and strong friendship with Alan. I am tired of not having someone there to talk, share, and learn new things from another. I feel so alone and depressed. I get a feeling of emptiness within my heart and chest that is so indescribable. I want something to fill in that void. I am scared in doing something harmful to myself if this seems to continue. Please help! I know this can't be immediate but give me some sort of sign that I am being heard.

Mike, I think it is a wonderful idea to have a good friend like Alan to be able to talk to but there is Someone that sticks closer than a brother. His name Is Jesus Christ the Righteous and He is the only ONE that can give you true peace.  He loves us just like we are and just where we are at in our lives.

He sees your tears, He hears the cries of your heart and He longs to comfort you as only He can. All He asks of you now is, “ Come unto Me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Learn of Me for My yoke is easy and My burden is light.†Please go to Him and let Him minister to you. Once you experience being in His presence you will never be the same again. 

 
Thank You Heavenly Father, for Your plan of salvation and the gift of Your Son and His Precious Holy Spirit. Please draw all those that are hurting and don’t know which way to turn. Father, you know they have thought of giving up at times. Please draw them to Yourself we pray in the blessed name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
