Dear Family and Friends

###’s battle with cancer.

With his body riddled in pain he pushes himself every day to do even the simple task of rolling out of bed. I hate Cancer; I hate what it’s doing to his mind, body and spirit. Those of you, who know him best, know how charismatic he is. Always full of energy, engaging smile, and a laugh that makes others want to join in and of course his funny, smart aleck remarks. His personality and charm a magnet that draws even strangers to engage in conversations with him. I miss who he is, who he will be again. I see only glimpses in-between his short lived bursts of energy, before he has to lie down or get sick. You have no idea how much it means to him, trying to hold on to some shred of dignity by refusing to allow anyone to drive him to his Chemo appointments; even though everyone who loves him, I included offer to take him. He wants to feel in control of something even if it’s getting himself to a doctor’s appointment. I love that about him. The fight is in him to beat this Cancer that is threatening his very life.

We found out today his insurance will end at the end of this month. The power is due to be shut off, water bill is also due to be shut off. I’m still working full time but it’s just not enough. I just got my paycheck today and it’s gone to the house payment I’m in crisis ### has not had a paycheck since September. We applied for state assistance, but they said I made too much. Something is very wrong with this picture I told her they did not account our family of four ###’s cancer my two children, medication, taxes & bills I made a spread sheet and I come up very short. I just do not understand why they will not help. I’m shocked. Please, please consider spreading the word that a very special man and his family need help and support in even the smallest ways to help us get through this. I pray to God that we will continue to be blessed with love and encouragement we have had from the beginning. I pray to God that the ### we know and love will be whole again, that his destiny of greatness will be fulfilled, that his greatest accomplishments that are yet to be accomplished will be.

In the name and authority and power of Jesus Christ, we curse this cancer in ###'s body, we command his body to line up with the word of God and we say ### receive what Jesus did on the cross for you when scripture says by His stripes you were healed. Lord, we ask for miracles to begin to pour into ### and ###'s life, open the windows of heaven, send people their way to offer to help them. Lord I pray that they would feel Your precious Holy Spirit all around them and Your peace and joy would enter their hearts and minds, we thank You in advance for what You have already done and for what You are about to do. In Jesus mighty name we pray, amen
