Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Please pray for me. I am fighting a losing battle and I need God’s help to overcome my drinking problem. I’ve been trying for quite a while and the bottle wins. I’m praying for a miracle. I ask this in Jesus Name. Amen.
Addictions:
- Satan uses sin and addictions to entice us to be slaves to sin.
- Then he can harm us or control our lives in a very unholy way.
- God offers His help and He says " Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world." 1John 4:4.
- Jesus said He will set you free. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36
Here are some scriptures to help you break your addiction
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
1 Corinthians 10:13
Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Matthew 26:41
For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.
1 John 2:16
Psalms 107:19-20:“Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them.

God says that if two people agree in prayer He will answer that prayer.
He puts it this way:
Matthew 18:19
19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
I will be praying in agreement with all of your prayers from now on.
