Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. It’s the beginning of a new year and I’m thinking it’s time I get in to see a dentist concerning the extremely poor condition of my remaining teeth and the sad condition of my gums. Financial deficits, coupled with no dental insurance, and pride (I’m ashamed of what I’ve allowed to happen in my mouth – it’s embarrassing) have prevented me getting the pearly whites taken care of. For what it’s worth I should probably go see an eye doctor too. Ask God to help me to get things together so I can finally smile (and see who I’m smiling at or with). And while you’re at it, please ask God to help me take care of my physical issues as well (He knows what they are). I ask this in Jesus Name. Amen.
