Disciple of Prayer
Dear brother/sister,
I really need your prayers.
My uncle ### (###y) was diagnosed with a brain tumor. They operated him the 18th of December. There was a 1% chance of a complication which unfortunately happened. There was a big bleeding during the operation which they fixed. After the operation a new bleeding occurred so they had to operate him immediately again (2 operations in 1 day). Unfortunately, the bleeding came back and left him with a right-sided hemiparalysis (his biggest fear, because of this fear he did not want to operate). They thought he wouldn't recover and he might not wake up, but he did. He became stronger every day.
Doctors said his tumor was a very malignant one, they could not remove everything and it would grow back. Because of his hemiparalysis, he would not receive chemo or radiation.
In this time, me and his daughter ### (###y) became stronger in our faith, so strong we decided to get baptized the 25th. We went to a church where a lot of people were healed because of prayer.
Since my uncle didn't really have faith, he did believe in God but never really practiced it, we asked the preacher/minister of this church to come to ### in the hospital (he is famous because of the hearings that happened in his church).
Exactly the day he would come (tuesday) ### didn't wake up. The doctor called us and said the tumor has grown back and therefore there is a lot of fluid in his brain which is pressing against his brain and therefore his condition is very bad and he won't have much longer. He could still hear us a bit. The preacher came and prayed with him and we believe ### accepted Jesus in his heart (amen!).
After he left, he said keep on proclaiming life of God on him..
That night things went worse. He came in a deep coma. The doctor told us he is in a very deep coma and won't get out of it, things will only be worse from here. We started praying a lot again. I still believe God can do a miracle and could not understand why our prayers are not answered. All of the prayers got him to a condition that he opened his eyes last night, is moving his hands again, the pressure in his brain seems to be less now. I was so happy this morning, said God is really hearing our prayers, he just wants patience, he will heal ### and so we can tell the whole world we have a God of miracles, and that God can still do miracles. The doctor came and said, oh yeah he is more on the surface a bit now? You have to know he just has a few days, this is temporary he will get worse. We want to stop his medication because we are extending his suffering. We said no to that, so they are still giving him meds to lower the pressure in his brain.
I just want prayer for ###'s healing. I know that if he heals my whole family will accept Jesus truly. I have a Persian family, they didn't grow up with Christianity, I know they will lose faith if we lose ###. I know they won't only lose faith but my grandma (his mother) and my mom really won't survive it. I promised God I will tell about ###'s miracle in the whole world, and everybody around us and family in Iran.
This family went through so so much, they always had 'bad luck' in life, therefore I think there have been curses on this family. The devil had a lot of bad influence, therefore I try to pray for that as well.
He just has one daughter who was kidnapped by her mom when she was younger for 6 years. They are together now just for 12 years, they deserve a long life with each other and with God.
Please pray for ###'s healing and miracle. I believe God can still do miracles. Please pray for this family that God will hear our prayers and show his greatness.
We need urgent prayers since the doctors just gave him a few hours to days.
God is great and I see ###'s improvement since last night which the doctor said could not happen as a sign.
