Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up ###'s friend's mother who is very sick and on the ventilator. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we know that nothing is impossible for You. Your Word says in Jeremiah 17:14, "Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved: for you are my praise." We cling to this promise and ask for Your healing touch upon her.
Lord, we ask that You would grant her strength and recovery, that she may be able to see a new day. We pray that You would guide the doctors and medical staff who are caring for her, giving them wisdom and discernment in their treatment decisions.
Father, we also pray for the family during this difficult time. Grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, as mentioned in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Comfort them and give them hope as they trust in Your will.
We submit to Your sovereignty, Lord, and pray that Your will be done in her life. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, believing that You will work all things for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
