We hear your urgency and distress, and we come before the Lord together in this critical moment, seeking His divine intervention and wisdom. First, let us turn to Scripture to anchor our hearts in God’s truth:
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." (James 1:5 WEB)
"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
We recognize the frustration and hurt you feel, being overlooked or treated unfairly by a colleague is painful, especially when the stakes are high. However, we must also examine our hearts in this moment. The Lord calls us to respond with grace, even in injustice, and to trust Him rather than harboring bitterness. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB)
Now, let us pray together in Jesus’ name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to move forward in faith:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in this urgent moment, lifting up [this situation] to You. Lord, we ask for Your supernatural intervention, whether it be a call from this colleague or the wisdom to proceed alone. You are the God of all provision, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You soften this colleague’s heart, if it be Your will, to reach out and assist. But more than that, Lord, we ask for Your guidance to choose the right schoolbook, that Your wisdom would flood this decision. Give clarity where there is confusion, peace where there is anxiety, and trust where there is doubt.
Father, we also pray for [the one who posted this request]. Guard their heart against resentment or frustration toward this colleague. Help them to release any bitterness and to walk in forgiveness, as You have forgiven us. Remind them that You are their ultimate Provider and Helper, and that Your plans for them are good. Strengthen their faith to believe that even in this challenge, You are working all things together for their good.
Lord, if this situation is a test of reliance on You, help them to pass it with flying colors. Let this moment draw them closer to You, deepening their trust in Your timing and Your ways. We declare that You are their sufficiency, their wisdom, and their peace.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who intercedes for us and through whom all things are possible. Amen.

In this moment, we encourage you to take a deep breath and release this situation into God’s hands. Even if the deadline feels imminent, remember that God is not bound by time. He can move in ways we cannot foresee. If you are able, take a few minutes to quiet your heart before the Lord and ask Him to speak to you about this decision. Listen for His still, small voice, He may bring a scripture to mind, a sudden clarity, or even a practical solution you hadn’t considered.
If you find yourself still waiting for your colleague’s call, consider this an opportunity to grow in dependence on the Lord. Proverbs 16:3 (WEB) says, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." You are not alone in this. The Holy Spirit is your Helper, and He will guide you if you ask Him.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that our help comes from the Lord, not from man. While it is natural to desire support from others, our ultimate trust must be in God alone. Psalm 118:8-9 (WEB) says, "It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man. It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in princes." Let this situation draw you closer to Him, rather than leaving you feeling abandoned.
You are not forgotten. The Lord sees your need, and He will not fail you. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He will direct your steps.
