Day 35

Good morning all.

How are we all doing? I don’t know about the rest of you all but I am finding that almost every topic I write about I have to put in practice because at some point I come face to face with it. I really had to choose peace this weekend. I really had to seek God in what happened and you want to know the amazing thing, I found him. Amen. HE IS ALWAYS THERE FOR US WE JUST HAVE TO LOOK FOR HIM.

So I don’t know what everyone has planned we are coming to an end of our 40 days which means the two days fast is upon us. I personally will be fasting Monday and Tuesday. I will also try to do two posts everyday so that we finish up on Tuesday as well.

So we have a big holiday here on the island this week. It is call Cup Match. It is the biggest holiday here on the island. So we have a four day week end and Thursday and Friday there is a cricket match for the cup. Here is a link if you are interested. http://www.bermudacupmatch.com/ .

The reason I bring this up is because this is like your thanksgiving. It is a major family time and I will be without my spouse. I asked him what he will be doing and if he will be going over his mama etc. He has a new baby and I guess the ow will want him to be with her. He wasn’t last year. He went to his mamas the second day and I spent the morning with him as well. As always this whole situation is so confusing.

I want to be my husband oasis but I also want to choke the breath out of him and tell him you know full well you were happy here at home. So just come the hell back,

Wow not very Godly is it. But we all go through this. Our spouses sometimes feel so trapped. My spouse spends so much time telling everyone how bad it was at home but everyone knows he was happy. It was the fighting with me and the children that drove him away, now he has another one and I know she is threatening him with the child because he doesn’t want to go court.

Wow today has been a real purging day for me hasn’t it. lol.

But through all of this God gave me a chance to speak to my husband. God gave me a chance to tell my husband that God loves him and God has peace for him. It is amazing. God always shows up in every situation. Do you see what I mean by seeking God?

When God presents an opportunity for you to minister to someone it will never feel like ministering especially when it comes to your spouse. God will open up doors and opportunities that you would have never imagined. We just have to keep God first and foremost and just seek him at all times. I promise seeing God in everything and looking for him in everything just makes everything so much easier. Take you focus off of your spouse put it on God.

I honestly had to say to God this weekend ok I don’t know what to say I don’t know what to pray I want my h to find peace, I want him happy but at the same time not over there, you know what God he is yours, I don’t know how to even wrap my head around this but you do so if I can’t trust my h with you who can I trust him with. And wow so much clarity came. My h could have lied about where he was going etc. But I have found that for the last week he has been extremely honest so amen.

God has us even in our darkest moments we just have to trust him and lean not own our own understanding because his ways are not our ways and his thought are not our thought and when we cannot wrap our heads around the situation and don’t know how to pray that is when we just say it is yours. You know what to do. That is when we allow the Holy Spirit to pray and intercede for us. So let’s give up trying to figure out what is going on in your spouse’s head etc. And let God run our head and life. He will show you the way. Just choose peace, Love, Forgiveness, in other words just choose GOD.

Have a good day.

Anthonette.

Father God help me to always seek you. That no matter what the situation is help me to look for you and seek you and find my peace in your arms. Thank you Jesus... In Jesus name Amen.

My sister who is Bipolar was caught in an indiscretion in her house, and asked to leave. She is staying with me because she is homeless. All of my family told me not to take her in(in other words she made her bed lie in it). I refused to do that and took her in. I am slowly introducing her to Salvation by Grace, reading the Bible, we listen to sermons, pray etc. What does any of this have to do with what you wrote? A year ago I started following "Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven, and all else will be given unto you. My only focus is God. When things went wrong, I prayed harder. When people were mean and unfair, (my alcoholic husband fell off the wagon) I was kinder and more understanding. I noticed that when you stop viewing things as suffering, they are no longer suffering. You CAN change your world by changing yourself first by allowing God to change YOU, then you will change your world. I have seen unbelievable miracles...You are right in all you say and are doing sister. You also teach best what you most need to learn, ;your humility is the key to your increased holiness. God Bless You. HE HAS EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL

don't give up. God will carry you. I know because he is carrying me. I too am bipolar and thank you Jesus you have me covered.
