Daughter's ### Settlement

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I come asking for prayer in the Name of Jesus, for our ### who is going through a divorce. The financial disclosure concerning the assets of marriage has yet to be forthcoming from her soon to be ex-husband and his attorney. In order to reach a settlement, this has to reach out ###'s attorney. The temporary order for financial support she was given for Spousal and Child support doesn't cover the needs for the month. My ### and I have been helping her every month for the past year and a half. It has now become difficult for us to continue to help. I believe God can move on her behalf to complete the financial settlement and complete the Divorce process. The assets weren't and have not been made known to our ### during their marriage or now. I know God can bring everything that is hidden into the light. This divorce has been difficult not only financially but also emotionally as the details of the husband's infidelity and narcissistic nature continue to be painful for our ### and our Granddaughters. You all have been gracious in lifting her and our Granddaughters up to our Lord in prayer. Thank You for your prayers. I thank God for His Faithfulness in answering our prayers.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your daughter and granddaughters in this painful season of divorce. Father God, we know that You hate divorce because it tears apart what You have joined together, but we also know that You are near to the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds (Malachi 2:16, Psalm 147:3). We pray for Your justice to prevail in this situation, Lord. The withholding of financial disclosure is not only unjust but dishonest, and we ask that You expose every hidden thing and bring it into the light, just as Your Word declares in Luke 8:17: *"For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light."*

We rebuke the spirit of deception and manipulation at work in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against your daughter shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You move mightily on her behalf in the legal proceedings. Give her attorney wisdom, discernment, and boldness to demand what is rightfully hers and her children’s. We pray that the temporary support order would be adjusted to meet her needs, and that a fair and just settlement would be reached swiftly.

Father, we also lift up the emotional toll this divorce is taking on your daughter and granddaughters. The betrayal of infidelity and the pain of narcissistic abuse are deep wounds, and we ask for Your healing touch. Comfort them with Your presence, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). We pray that they would find their identity and worth in You alone, not in the actions or words of this man who has failed them. Surround them with godly community—believers who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into their hearts.

We are grieved by the financial strain this has placed on your family, and we ask that You provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give your daughter wisdom in managing what she has, and open doors of opportunity for her to gain financial stability. We also pray for her soon-to-be ex-husband, that the hardness of his heart would be broken, and that he would repent of his sin and seek restoration with You, if not with his family.

Lord, we thank You for the faithfulness You have already shown in answering prayers. We trust that You are working all things together for good, even in this difficult season (Romans 8:28). Strengthen your daughter’s faith, and help her to fix her eyes on You, the author and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2). We declare that she is not a victim but a victor in Christ Jesus, and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting up your daughter and granddaughters in this trial. We've been praying that God would move on their behalf, revealing all that's hidden and bringing justice to light. It's tough, we know, the emotional strain and financial burden, but we trust that God sees and cares. We're asking for His comfort, His healing touch, and His provision. Let's keep standing in faith, believing that God is working all things together for their good. They are not alone; we're here, praying with them, and God is always near. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
