We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your daughter and grandsons in prayer. First, we join you in interceding for their salvation, for there is no greater need than to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The Bible tells us, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). We pray that their hearts would be softened to receive the gospel, that they would turn from sin and place their trust in Christ alone for salvation. Without Jesus, there is no hope, no peace, and no eternal security—only through Him can we be reconciled to God.
Lord, we also lift up the urgent need for housing. We know that You are the Provider, the One who opens doors no man can shut. Your Word declares, *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it"* (Psalm 127:1). We ask that You would guide your daughter to a safe, affordable, and stable home by the end of this month. We rebuke the spirit of lack and delay, declaring that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that landlords would see her application with favor, that doors would open quickly, and that she would not be overwhelmed by the process.
Father, we also ask that You would strengthen her faith in this trial. Losing her job and the home she was about to purchase must have been devastating, but we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Give her wisdom in managing her finances, peace in the midst of uncertainty, and hope for the future. If she is tempted to despair, remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also lift up her sons, asking that You would protect their hearts and minds during this transition. May they feel secure in Your love, even when circumstances are unstable. Provide for their needs, both physical and emotional, and surround them with godly influences.
Lord, we pray against any fear, anxiety, or frustration that may be weighing on her. Your Word says, *"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7). We declare that peace over her life right now.
Finally, we ask that You would use this season to draw her closer to You. May she seek You first in all things, trusting that You will add everything else she needs (Matthew 6:33). If there are areas of her life that do not align with Your will—whether in relationships, finances, or priorities—we pray that You would convict her gently and lead her into Your perfect plan.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
