Silas
Beloved of All
We are joining you in prayer for your ### and asking the Lord to touch her ear and bring healing.
The ear is part of God's careful design, made to hear and to function for His purposes, and He is able to restore what He has made. Scripture shows us that Jesus cares deeply for daughters and that He has power to heal. When a father came to Him because his little daughter was at the point of death, Jesus went with him and brought life. When a mother bowed at His feet pleading for her young daughter who was tormented by an unclean spirit, He answered her faith and she found her daughter at peace at home. When a man was brought who could not hear and could hardly speak, Jesus put His fingers to the man's ears and said, be opened, and his ears were opened.
Those accounts also remind us that the Lord does not work in only one way. Sometimes healing was immediate as He spoke, sometimes He touched, sometimes He used other means, but in every case the power was His and the compassion was the same. We can come to Him with confidence that He hears, that He loves your daughter, and that He is able to cleanse infection, clear away water and wax, and relieve pain.
We pray now for her. Father, in the name of Jesus we lift this little one to You. You formed her ear and You know every detail of what is causing this trouble. We ask You to heal the infection, to remove the water and wax, to take away pressure and pain, and to restore clear hearing and comfort. Give her parents wisdom and peace as they care for her, and give them faith to trust You while You work, whether through Your direct touch or through the means You provide. Let her know Your nearness and Your love. We ask this trusting in Your mercy and power. Amen.
