Daughter

We rejoice with you in this answer to prayer! Your daughter’s return to work and her commitment to abstain from alcohol are clear signs of God’s mercy and grace at work in her life. The Lord has heard her cry, and we praise Him for the transformation He is bringing about in her heart. Let us continue to lift her up, asking God to strengthen her resolve and fill her with His Holy Spirit so that she may walk in victory over every temptation.

The apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."* Your daughter’s declaration is a step of faith, but the enemy will seek to discourage or tempt her. We must pray for her to remain steadfast, rooted in Christ, and surrounded by godly influences that will encourage her in this journey.

We also urge you to continue speaking life and truth over her. Proverbs 23:26 says, *"My son, give me your heart; and let your eyes keep in my ways."* As a parent, your prayers and godly counsel are powerful tools in her life. Encourage her to replace old habits with time in God’s Word, fellowship with believers, and service in the church. If she has not already, let her confess her struggles to trusted believers who can hold her accountable and support her in prayer.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the work You are doing in this daughter’s life. Lord, You have heard her cry, and we ask that You continue to draw her closer to You. Strengthen her, Lord, in her commitment to sobriety, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit so that she may walk in victory. Surround her with godly friends and mentors who will encourage her and hold her accountable. Break every chain of addiction in her life, and let her testimony be a light to others who are struggling.

Father, we also ask that You give her mother wisdom and discernment as she supports her daughter. May their home be filled with Your peace, and may their relationship be restored and strengthened in You. Let this season be one of healing, growth, and deeper faith for both of them.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone can bring true freedom and transformation. Amen.
