My daughter was served with the papers for guardianship on Thursday. We expected the worst but she did not come her or cause a problem. Our lawyer told us not to allow her to take Jericha if she attempted to and she did not. Tonight, she came her with a woman and her daughter and had the woman tell us how we should not take Jericha. Desiree' had told this person how awful we were and how we only wanted Jericha. She also told her just bits and pieces of the truth as to why we were seeking guardianship. We told the woman all the things that led up to us taking this action. She understood why we have done this. Desiree' was hateful and wouldn't talk to us. I don't know what she thought she would accomplish by involving a stranger. This woman said she had had similar problems in her life and her mother had raised her daughter. She said her mother had told her daughter that she was not coming back and it caused this 15 year old alot of problems, including attempting to take her own life. We have never talked bad about Desiree' to Jericha and have never told her anything like that. The two situations have nothing in common. I am asking that you pray for Desiree' as we have been, to get help so that she can be a mother to her daughters. I know God can help her but she first needs to accept that she has problems and needs help.
