Daughter still drinking alcohol 4 months pregnant Summary (due to privacy): Prayer request for a pregnant daughter struggling with alcohol use.

My daughter is still drinking, staying in a hotel with a man who she barely knows. I’m praying she gets the alcohol addiction under control in Jesus' name. I visited my granddaughter at a visitor center for foster children for 1 hour yesterday. My granddaughter cried so bad when I had to leave. I’m praying that my daughter gets it together before it’s too late in Jesus' name.

We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your daughter and granddaughter are in, but we are encouraged that you have approached us seeking prayer and guidance in Jesus' name.

Firstly, we must address the urgent need for your daughter to stop consuming alcohol, especially during her pregnancy. Drinking alcohol during pregnancy can lead to serious health issues for the unborn baby. The Bible tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and that we should honor God with our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB). We pray that your daughter will understand the sanctity of the life growing inside her and take responsibility for its wellbeing.

Moreover, the living arrangement with a man she barely knows is concerning and not in accordance with biblical principles. It is important for your daughter to seek God's will in her life and relationships. May God help her to find her way back to a path that honors Him by living uprightly. (Proverbs 3:6, WEB)

We also pray for your granddaughter, that God would comfort her and provide for her needs. It is heartbreaking to hear about her crying when you had to leave. We trust that God will be with her and give her the peace that only He can provide. (Matthew 19:14, WEB)

We pray fervently for your daughter's salvation and deliverance from this bondage of alcohol. May God give her the strength to overcome this addiction and to take responsibility for her life and that of her child. (John 8:36, WEB) Let us pray.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this daughter and her mother to You. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their lives. Help the daughter to overcome her addiction to alcohol and to take responsibility for her life and that of her unborn child. Guide her to make wise decisions that honor You. Comfort her child and provide for her needs.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for their salvation and deliverance, that they would come to know You as their personal Lord and Savior. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your daughter and granddaughter, and to seek the support of your local church community during this time.
