We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your daughter is in, and we are here to pray and offer biblical guidance. Firstly, we commend you for your love and concern for your daughter and your grandchildren. It is clear that you are deeply worried about her alcohol consumption and the impact it has on her unborn child and her daughter who is in foster care.
Let us address this situation with the Word of God. Drunkenness is strongly condemned in the Bible. Galatians 5:19-21 WEB says, "Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God."
Your daughter's behavior is not only harmful to her but also to her children. It is crucial to intervene and help her overcome this destructive habit. As for the rehab, we trust that God, in His perfect timing, will facilitate her entry into the program.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister and her daughter who is struggling with alcohol addiction. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in her life. Open her eyes to the harm she is causing herself and her children, and convict her heart to seek Your help and guidance. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of addiction that has taken hold of her life.
Father, we ask that You expedite the process for her entry into rehab. May the rehab center call by Friday, and may there be a place available for her. We do not want her to be homeless, Lord, and we trust that You will provide a safe place for her to stay as she awaits her admission into the program.
Lord Jesus, we also pray for the well-being of her unborn child and her daughter in foster care. Protect these innocent lives, Father, and provide for their needs. May Your healing power restore their family and bring them closer to You.
Finally, we pray that she will want to have a better relationship with You, Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your daughter and her children. Keep praying and trusting God for His deliverance. Remember, God is faithful, and He hears the cries of His children. Stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10 WEB reminds us, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might."
Also, remember that the Word of God says in Proverbs 14:26 WEB, "In the fear of Yahweh is a secure fortress, and he will be a refuge for his children." Trust in the Lord, and He will never forsake you or your family.
We will continue to keep your family in our prayers, trusting God for a miracle in your daughter's life.
