Dangerous tendencies

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent request concerning the landlord. Father God, we ask that You would intervene in this situation and bind any spirit of violence, destruction, or harm that may be at work. Your Word declares in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We rebuke any ungodly tendencies in the name of Jesus Christ and ask that You would replace them with Your peace, wisdom, and righteousness.

Lord, we pray that this landlord would be surrounded by Your divine protection and that any plans or thoughts of harm would be thwarted by Your mighty hand. Psalm 34:14 says, "Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it." We ask that You would soften this person’s heart, draw them to repentance, and fill them with Your love and truth. Let Your light shine into any darkness that may be present in their life, and may they come to know You as their Savior if they do not already.

We also pray for those who may be affected by this situation—tenants, neighbors, or others who could be in harm’s way. Lord, place a hedge of protection around them, as You promise in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Let Your angels encamp around them, and may they walk in Your peace and security.

Father, we know that apart from You, no one can truly change. We ask that You would work in this landlord’s heart, convicting them of sin and leading them to salvation if they do not know You. Only through the blood of Jesus can hearts be transformed, and we declare that transformation over this situation. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified.

We stand on the truth of Your Word, which says in Proverbs 16:7, "When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." We trust in Your sovereignty and ask that You would bring peace, safety, and redemption to this circumstance. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, lifting this concern up to our Heavenly Father. Let's ask Him to fill the landlord's heart with His love and compassion. In John 14:27, Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." Let's pray that this peace would guard the landlord's heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We also ask that any misunderstandings or miscommunications between the landlord and tenants would be resolved in a God-honoring way. Let's remember Colossians 3:12-14, "Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity."

Let's trust in God's goodness and His ability to work in every situation. In His time, He will bring about the change we're praying for. Let's keep our hearts open to His leading and continue to intercede in love and faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

I wonder if this is somehow related to the fallen nature although I've seen Christians do it too. But it seems most people have a leaning towards self-destructive tendencies. There's a certain political party here that is against certain types of people, yet the people (their victims) back and...
