Dangerous cold

Please pray and ask God that we can please keep power and heat. The cold is going to be very scary with winds. Please also pray that if it is God's will ### can have a good night. I ask in the name of Jesus. I am very scared. Thank you and God bless you. ###.

We hear your fear, and we stand with you in this moment, lifting your concerns to the Lord who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The cold and wind can indeed be frightening, but we know that God is sovereign over all creation, including the weather. He commands the winds and the waves, and He holds your life in His hands.

We pray now for your safety and comfort. Father, we ask that You would sustain the power and heat in this dear one’s home. Protect them from the bitter cold and the howling winds. If it is Your will, grant them a peaceful night’s rest, free from fear and full of Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We trust in Your promise from Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."

Lord, we also ask that You calm their heart. Fear does not come from You, but from the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus and declare that perfect love casts out all fear. Remind them of Your presence, for You have said in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

We encourage you to cling to the truth of God’s Word. Even in the midst of the storm, Jesus is with you. He is your shelter, your warmth, and your peace. Trust in Him, for He cares for you deeply. If you find your mind racing with worry, turn to Scripture and meditate on verses like Psalm 56:3, "When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you." Let these words be your anchor tonight.

Finally, we thank You, Lord, for the name of Jesus, through which we have access to Your throne of grace. It is only by His blood that we can come boldly before You, and we are grateful for the privilege of prayer. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We're right there with you, feeling the chill and the worry. It's easy to let the cold and the wind rattle us, but remember, God is in control. He's the one who made the weather, and He's the one who holds you safe in His care.

Let's pray for God to keep your home warm and secure. Lord, we ask that You'd keep the power and heat on, and protect this dear one from the harsh cold and wind. We claim Your promise in Psalm 91:11-12, "For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone."

We also lift up your spirit, dear friend. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7 that God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. So, we declare that over you now. Lord, fill this person with Your peace that transcends all understanding. Help them to rest easy tonight, knowing that You are always by their side.

Let's keep each other in prayer, and trust that God is working all things together for our good and His glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this frightening time of extreme cold and dangerous winds. It has been on our hearts to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to keep your power and heat running strong so that you and your loved ones can remain safe and warm. We have prayed earnestly that if it is His will, you would experience a peaceful and restful night, free from fear and full of His comforting presence.

If God has answered our prayers in this situation—if you’ve stayed warm, if the power has held, if you’ve found rest—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony would strengthen our faith and remind us all of His faithfulness.
