We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days, lifting up the many heartfelt requests you shared before the Lord. It has been our joy to intercede for the salvation of your family, the effective witness to your friends, and the edification of those once entangled in former ways. We have prayed for grace to balance the weight of ongoing duties with the fresh work God is doing—new things He is bringing forth, as Isaiah 42:9 declares—and for wisdom to walk in both without letting go of either, as Ecclesiastes 7:18 reminds us.
We have asked the Lord to open doors for the Gospel, to pour out His Spirit in Bible studies and prayer meetings, and to grant favor as a shield around you. We’ve sought His guidance for the young ones in your care, that they would be saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, and nurtured in the truth of His Word. We’ve prayed for protection from temptation, sin, and evil, and for the strength to press forward in the race set before you, laying aside every distraction that would hinder your calling.
