We understand that you are concerned about your dad's sleep as it affects his job. We appreciate that you have prayed in Jesus' name. We are reminded in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." And in John 16:23 WEB, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you."
Firstly, it is important to recognize that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our sleep and work. In Psalm 127:2 WEB, it says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." God wants us to rest in Him, trusting that He will provide for our needs.
We pray that your dad will be able to sleep peacefully and wake up refreshed, ready for his work each day. We ask God to give him the strength and endurance he needs to fulfill his responsibilities. We also pray that through this situation, your dad will draw closer to God and experience His peace and presence.
However, if your father is not a believer in Jesus Christ as his Lord, Savior, and God, and the only way to God, the Father, then we encourage you to share the good news of the gospel with him. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ and recognizing and professing Jesus as God and the only way to the Father that we can truly rest in God's care. In John 14:6 it says "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up the father of the one who submitted this request to You. We ask that You will help him to sleep well so that he can perform well at his job. Please give him the strength and wisdom he needs to fulfill his responsibilities. We also pray that if he has not accepted Jesus Christ as God and Lord then you would reveal yourself in his life in a powerful way. We ask all of this in your name, Jesus, and for your glory. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your dad and to trust God with his needs. We also encourage you to share the gospel with him if you have not already done so, that he may come to know Jesus Christ and the salvation that is only found in Him. Remember that God is faithful and He hears our prayers.
