Good and Faithful Servant
I'm currently on my menstrual cycle. I have a medical condition that makes my cycle much worse called PMDD. It's not as bad since I started taking medicine for it but I still experience a lot of discomfort and even increased spiritual warfare (although not as much in recent months; most of the women who have this condition note that it's like they get attacked more by Satan during the time of their cycle). Please pray for me as I'm really going through a lot and still have to work and carry on with life responsibilities. Please pray the same for all women with this condition. Please also pray that I would get a wasp out of my house that somehow has been in here since yesterday. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father hears the prayers of His children. We stand with you in this time of physical discomfort and spiritual warfare, knowing that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your struggle with PMDD is not unseen by God, and we join with you in prayer, believing that He will sustain you through this season.

First, we rebuke the spiritual attacks that come against you during this time. The enemy has no authority over you, for you are a child of the Most High God. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the Holy Spirit would strengthen you, comfort you, and remind you of God’s nearness, even in the midst of pain. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that He would grant you supernatural endurance to fulfill your responsibilities with grace and that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for divine healing and relief from the physical symptoms you endure. The same God who formed you in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) is able to bring comfort and restoration to your body. We ask that He would guide your doctors and that the medicine you take would be effective in easing your suffering. May He grant you moments of rest and refreshment, even in the midst of your duties.

Regarding the wasp in your home, we pray that God would remove it swiftly and without harm. We ask that He would protect you and your household from any fear or disturbance it may cause. The Lord is our refuge and fortress, and we trust in His protection (Psalm 91:2).

To all women who suffer with PMDD, we lift you up as well. May the Lord grant you strength, wisdom, and a community of believers to support you. May He reveal Himself to you in new ways during this trial, drawing you closer to His heart.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. We ask that You would surround this sister with Your love and mercy. Strengthen her body, mind, and spirit, and let her feel Your presence in tangible ways. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). May she experience Your peace that transcends all understanding and find rest in Your unfailing love. We ask for Your healing touch and for the enemy to be silenced in his attacks. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear how heavy this can feel, and we're grateful you reached out. Living with PMDD means you're not just managing physical discomfort each month but also the way it seems to open you up to spiritual discouragement, something many women with this condition describe. It takes real perseverance to show up for work and daily responsibilities when your body and spirit feel under siege, and we want you to know we see that effort.

It may help to remember that the rhythmic pattern of your cycle, as difficult as it is, also means you can anticipate when you'll need extra support. Having even one trusted person at church who knows what you face, someone who can check in without needing a long explanation, can make those harder days lighter. If you haven't already, it could be worth mentioning to your doctor how things are going on the medication, simply to see whether any fine-tuning might ease what remains. That's not a failure of faith; it's wise stewardship of the body God gave you.

And we'll gladly pray about the wasp, too. Sometimes it's the small, persistent irritations that feel like the last straw when you're already worn thin.

Jesus, thank you that our sister belongs to you and that nothing can snatch her from your hand. Please steady her through this cycle, calm her body, guard her mind from every lie of the enemy, and let her sense your nearness in tangible ways. Give her wisdom about what to adjust medically and relationally, and provide people who will come alongside her with genuine understanding. We ask for relief from this discomfort and for that wasp to be gone quickly so her home feels like a place of peace again. And we lift up every woman living with PMDD, meet them in their hidden battles, and comfort them with the truth that you see and you do not leave them alone. We ask all of this in your strong name, Jesus. Amen.

Expect suffering, for it is the appointed lot of God’s people. You have foreseen it, and in this affliction of body and spirit you are not taken unaware. The furnace is heated, the mill grinds, the pestle breaks, yet it is all under a Father’s hand. I do not deny the keenness of your trial. The heaviness of the frame, the assault of dark thoughts, the dragging sense of obligation while the inward powers cry out for rest, this is hard. When the adversary seizes such seasons to hurl his fiery darts, the battle feels more grim. But know this: the Captain of your salvation was perfected through suffering. In all the discomfort and warring, you are being made like Him who endured the cross, despising the shame. Your medicine may have brought some relief, but the deeper cure is in the Spirit’s work to strengthen the whole spiritual constitution. Lean upon Christ. His sweetness surpasses every bitter draught; in Him is a peace that does not ebb with the body’s tides.

For all women bearing this grievous yoke, we plead that the Lord would be their stay. May He make their spirits robust to run with endurance, looking unto Jesus. Let them glean even here a sheaf of His faithfulness, stooping low to gather the promises. As for the wasp, a small vexation, yet a real one, our God is Lord of the insect as well as the angel. Pray that the creature be sent out or removed; He careth for such things. May you soon be rid of it, and may your heart be sweetly free to taste once more how altogether lovely He is, until that day when the glorious work is done and every trace of affliction is swallowed up in eternal health.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The bodily afflictions you endure are not hidden from the Lord who Himself wore our flesh. He knows what tribulation is, not only as God but as man, having suffered much. In His temptation and pain, He learned to sympathize with our weakness, and He is able now to succor all who are tempted. When your body groans under this severe trial, and when the enemy seizes that season to hurl his darts, remember that you are not forsaken. God allows such tests not because He is ignorant of your faith, but to make your fortitude manifest and to train you in long-suffering. A soul anchored in patience is like the deep sea: a spark falls and is quenched without disturbing the depths.

Be on guard, for the devil attacks most fiercely when he sees one alone and isolated. The Spirit led our Lord into the wilderness for a purpose, but you must not face this warfare by yourself. Flock together continually with the faithful, sharing your burdens and drawing strength from the communion of those who also suffer. Your steadfastness under these pains is not a small thing; it gives life and joy to those who watch your endurance.

Carry your daily responsibilities not as a crushing weight but as an offering, knowing that the God who delivered Paul from so great a death will deliver you again. Even the small nuisance of that wasp, like any unexpected thorn, is an occasion to practice long-suffering. Pray simply, trust in the Lord’s deliverance, and let no trial disturb the soul that rests in love.

Your words remind me of a truth we often forget: just as there are physical laws that govern our bodies and the world around us, there are spiritual laws that shape our inner lives and our battles. You are keenly aware of the physical reality right now, the pain, the fatigue, the demanding cycle made heavier by a medical condition. You're also sensing the spiritual weight that so often accompanies it. That is not your imagination. Many find that in seasons of bodily weakness, the enemy presses in more fiercely, seeking to steal peace and diminish hope. He despises anyone who clings to God in the midst of suffering, because such faith shines a light in the darkness.

Yet there is a spiritual law that works for your good even now: the promise that when you draw near to God, He draws near to you. The discomfort you feel is not meaningless. Just as Manasseh, in his great affliction and captivity, finally sought the Lord with a humbled heart, so these low days can become a time of deeper seeking. The enemy would love to convince you to set your gaze only on the pain, on the frustration, on the little intruder in your house. But you can choose to put spiritual things first. David, when his kingdom was being established, made his first priority bringing up the Ark, placing God at the center before all else. You can do the same, right where you are. Not by ignoring your body's needs, but by acknowledging God's place in this moment, inviting Him into every ache and every task.

That wasp is a tiny nuisance, but it’s not too small for the Lord. And the bigger battle, the one over your mind and spirit, is not beneath His notice either. The enemy often uses scorn, shame, or simply the grinding weariness of life to pull us down from any spiritual high we've known. He aims to deflate our joy. But you are not defenseless. You have been given spiritual weapons: honest prayer, the Word, and a community that lifts you up. I will pray for your relief, and for all our sisters who face this same difficult struggle, that God would both calm their bodies and strengthen their spirits. I pray that in this cycle and in the ones to come, you would find pockets of grace, resilience for your responsibilities, and a steady peace that passes understanding.

So take heart. The same spiritual laws that lead to revival and renewal are at work for you. Lean into them, even when you don't fully understand how they operate. Trust that God is weaving a deeper maturity in you, one that looks less to denominational badges or surface comforts and more to the simple, desperate cry of a child to her Father. And may He clear that wasp quickly, as a small reminder that He cares about the details.
